I haven't ventured online yet. Still trying to master the controls. It's quite complex coming from just random button presses in VT4 and Top Spin.

Start you career mode, where the level is very easy and you can fiddle with your shots a bit. All my wins came on tie breakers against tough oppositions while going back to the old button configuration.

Yeah, I'm just playing through the Grand Slam Challenges right now...they are pretty easy so far and not having any trouble. Bumped the difficulty up to Pro (from Amateur) and got smoked 6-2 as Nadal against Hewitt (I think that's who I played). Game is tough as the difficulty ramps up.

I took the plunge and bought the 360 version since the game is now @ $21.53 on Amazon. Is it worth it at this price? :?

Yes...but it gets pretty old pretty quick. You'll get 20 dollars worth out of it though.

Can't go wrong with that deal. They have the W license which is nice but if you want a true Tennis experience you gotta go with Topspin 4.

Yeah I got TS4 as well but I got GST2 because I had so much fun with the Wii version. And yeah I like the actual license. :)

Yeah this game definitely is a ton of fun. For anyone who hasn't bought Virtua Tennis 4 because of the price, Newegg is selling it for $14.99 w/free shipping

$14.99 360

$15.99 PS3

Grand Slam 2 is now on sale for 10 bucks at the Microsoft store. I also posted this in the deals thread.

I'm having a bit of a Xbox 360 love affair and I just picked up Grand Slam Tennis 2 for $4.99  What a great fun game this is. Planning on picking up NCAA 14 as well next weekend.
I don't understand why I didn't buy this tennis game from the start though....good times.

It's the only reason preventing me from buying it again. I enjoyed it.

I don't believe so. I hooked up my 360 and was browsing demo's and saw it available. I played the demo a few times and immediately went to my local gamestop and picked up a copy for $4.99. If Microsoft would have had the digital download available, I would have probably paid $20 for it! I don't understand why they take these games out of the online store.
