Not to turn this into a classic dunk thread, but one of my favorites is Jordan spinning out against two Knicks (including Charles Oakley) on the baseline and then humiliating Patrick Ewing:



It's not the most thunderous of dunks, but one of the best moves and finishes I've ever seen.

The baseline illusions in Toronto are crazy. However, maybe it gives the Raptor fans something to look at besides basketball.

this isn't going to sound right but if you see it you'll agree with me. The best Dunk I've ever seen is by John Starks over Jordan, Pippen, and I think Horace Grant in one of their playoff battles.

LOL...that's exactly what I said to my wife when we were watching that video. Oh the good ol' days. And I didn't see him get decked by anyone after the fact. Hell, Gilliam even gave him a high five after he got his ass dunked on. That's respect there.

The cast may change, the teams may go up and down, but watching the Bulls beat the Knicks at MSG will never, ever get old for me. I just wish Rose had swiped Spike Lee's hat last night.

LINSANITY continues! A third consecutive 20-plus point night for upstart Knicks PG Jeremy Lin. Dude was in the D-League three weeks ago and now is the hoops toast of the town.

I have no idea how long Lin's run will continue, especially going against Kobe and the Lakers on Friday night. But it's a lot of fun to watch. Plus the team IS better with Lin than Douglas at the point.

It's tough not to score 20 when neither of your ball hogs are on the floor...gotta just keep chuckin'. Here's the Cliffs Notes version of that, so it's easier for you to grasp: Lin could once again be buried on the bench by the end of next week, grabbing minutes only in garbage time. But it sure is fun to see a nobody climb from the last spot on the bench to do well, even if it's only a week in the spotlight.

In fact, even the NBA PG whose nuts you love to sponge-bath with your tongue more than any other complimented Lin's story last night with this tweet:

No one with a functioning cerebral cortex expects Lin to continue scoring like this. But the guy is competent at running the pick-and-roll, which is EXACTLY what STAT needs to get on track. He and Felton ran the pick-and-roll to perfection in quite a few games last year.

The parallel with Fitz is a stretch other than the Harvard connection. He has been the Bills' starting QB since Game 3 of the 2010 season. He didn't come from the bottom of the depth chart in 2011 to produce a strong start.

1- The Knicks actually running an offense.
2 - Those Wizards uniforms are pretty sweet.

And please point me to the last time I gargled Nash's nuts? I refuse to get too excited about ball players because they are bound to disappoint. It's just the way of the sporting world. The last player I really got excited about watching on a daily basis was Andruw Jones...some guys can just do stuff others can't...those are the guys to get excited about. A little Asian dude with a crossover is nothing you can't find down at Rucker Park on the And1 tour. Sure, they don't hit the NBA often, nor do they have a couple nice games out of the gate, but they will eventually fade into obscurity once the defenses figure it/him out. It's the Tebow effect, just on the hardwood.

And bringing up the Pick n Roll LAST year w/ Felton means jack sh*t...know why? Cuz when they were doing it...ball stopper Melo hadn't come over yet. So running the PnR will still be a monumental task once they both come back. I'd love to be wrong, cuz I like Stat and he's honestly a good dude...so anyone who can make him better so he can stop getting hammered in the media is cool w/ me.

When did I support Fitz last year? I was effervescent about him this season, as was every Bills' fan. When your team has missed the playoffs every year since 1999, it doesn't take many rays of light to think you're in an overclocked tanning booth.

And you supported Fitz once he started on his little run to end the season and then you were one of the few that was cool with that horrific extension. That's what sticks out the most.

I'm still somewhat cool with the extension, with a few riders. I'd like to see what Fitz can do when he has healthy receivers and offensive lineman, which both were present during his nice run during the start of the season. It's no coincidence that Fitz's play started to deteriorate when offensive linemen started dropping like dominoes, especially Eric Wood. And losing Roscoe Parrish for the season in Week 2 at WR and Nelson and Johnson to injury at WR for various periods also hurt. Fitz also suffered cracked ribs in the Redskins' game in Week 8 and played through that injury for the rest of the season.

Sure, excuses are like assh*les. But there's also another fact to consider: What top-line existing NFL quarterback is going to come to Buffalo as a free agent? None. So unless Buddy Nix unearths a gem in the draft, which is about as possible as me moving to the Valley to star in porn next week, Fitz is probably about as good as the Bills are going to get.
