Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Tice will be named new OC. I kind of like the move. Shouldn't be too much of a transition for the players and he already knows the strengths and weaknesses of all of them. I would hear on the radio a lot how Tice was always making suggestions to Martz on changes to make but Martz wouldn't have any of it.

Horrible Detroit defense. So much for Suh's impact as an interior DL.
He's not solely responsible for how bad the defense is. Their back 7 is pretty bad with coverage and tackling. But people were advocating him as the top pick of the draft. But it'll be a long time if ever before he has the impact of someone like Revis or Von Miller.

I'd love to see the Saints represent the NFC in the SB.. Brees is one hell of a QB.

Would love to see the team the Rams beat in the Bowl!

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
The Texans were pretty damn good today considering losing the last 3 RS games and all the injuries. JJ Watt is a special player and the INT he returned for a TD was the play of the game. The Texans rookie QB played better than the Bengals rookie QB and oh by the way, nice to have Andre Johnson back and Arian Foster is a VERY special talent....I don't expect the Texans to beat the Ravens in Baltimore, but if they play like they did today, they have as good a shot to beat the Ravens as anyone....
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
From what i've read online this morning it looks like Fisher is leaning towards St. Louis.

I might get the itch to buy some tickets next year if that's the case.Rodster wrote:From what i've read online this morning it looks like Fisher is leaning towards St. Louis.

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Until Smith learns the importance of 3 points in a playoff game the Falcons will continue to disappoint in the playoffs. It might not have helped today but it sure would have been better.

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Exactly. What's even more confusing is that he tries the same QB sneak when they are in the same position again later in the game.ScoopBrady wrote:Until Smith learns the importance of 3 points in a playoff game the Falcons will continue to disappoint in the playoffs. Horrible coaching and horrible playcalling
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
And the Dolphins are interviewing Mike Mularkey, how nice. It fits the inept Dolphins front office. I hope they get him and he's even worse than Sparano. I guess getting fired from the Bills as HC and Dolphins as the OC didn't mean anything to Stephen Ross/Ireland/Peterson "the new trifecta", pathetic.JackB1 wrote:and horrible playcalling

Trying to work that jinxy magic?
I do NOT believe in Denver.
Steelers have a big second half and go to Boston next week.

Wow, Cowher just threw Tomlin under the bus.
"I would not have played Rothlisberger" in games when they were trying to improve their playoffs positioning.

Cowher still works for the Steelers?....News to me.wco81 wrote:Wow, Cowher just threw Tomlin under the bus.

Thanks for having incompetent refs NFL, clearly a fumble and the Broncos ball on the Steelers 18 yard line. Instead, they keep the ball and take it down and score.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
It was still 2nd and 10 deep in Steeler territory so you have to give some credit to Pittsburgh and some blame to the Denver D....but yeah that was a brutal call and would have made it MUCH harder on the Steelers.MizzouRah wrote:Thanks for having incompetent refs NFL, clearly a fumble and the Broncos ball on the Steelers 18 yard line. The reffing has been bad all weekend. The second quarter in New Orleans last night was a joke.

Free football.
Hell of a game.
That is the three straight missed face mask calls aside.
