As a Browns and Bucs fan, having Sunday Ticket is worth watching Tebow and Co. do it again. Early games had 3 to 4 games right down to the wire. Good sh!t!!

After today I think God is the least of Barbers worries. I seriously think someone might try and kill him when he gets back to Chicago.

What seriously sucks as the season is now officially over, if Cutler hadn't gotten hurt the Bears would be 10-3 instead of 7-6. Oh well won't matter the Packers won't lose a game.

I just got to see Tebow's post game and got a lot of respect for him. Very respectful of his teammates and the Bears defense. Even made me laugh when he said that he joked about thanking the Lord when Barber ran out of bounds. Not his fault the way ESPN is blowing this whole thing out of proportion. Guys loves the game and has respect for it which puts him above a lot of other players in this league.

I still think the Bears basically threw that game away but Tebow still had to make the plays when they gave him the opportunity and he did. Bears defense deserves better then what the offense has given them for the last 3 weeks. Today's loss has a good chance of fracturing that locker room between O and D. Going to be a long final 3 week of what if's and it's been a painful 3 weeks already. I guess the only bright spot to come out of this is we might finally be rid of Martz.

It just confirmed what we all knew but hoped wasn't true: that the Bears offense couldn't survive the loss of Cutler and Forte. I think Forte would have broken some of those Barber and Bell runs for big gains. Hanie is obviously terrible. It's bad when you find yourself wishing your team had TJ Yates.

It is a depressing loss because of the sheer stupidity that went into it, but at the same time it's clear this offense can't score much in its present condition. I couldn't see the Bears winning a playoff game on the road with Hanie.

A tip of the cap to the Broncos for playing great D and to Tebow for staying cool under pressure and not getting too discouraged that his receivers couldn't catch a cold for three-and-a-half quarters.

The odd thing is that we have no real idea of how bad this collapse is. If Cutler couldn't come back, or if he'd be ineffective in a rushed return, then making the playoffs would be a hollow accomplishment anyway. I think there's no way that Forte comes back this year with any potency.

But if Cutler could come back at 75% or more effectiveness, then there was a non-zero chance that the Bears could make some noise in the playoffs.

The frustrating thing for me was that I was really looking forward to a rematch with the Packers with both teams at full strength and playing their best football. I said over and over in November that I wished the teams could play then because I figured that both wouldn't get to Xmas or the post-season without significant injury.

Wonder how much attention Eli will get for his come back tonight. Something tells me not as much as he should.

He may not get it tonight, but a month from now I think the Giants may pose a riskier proposition for the Packers than say D, Brees and NO. But then again, is there a more bipolar team this season than the NYG? Which team can adjust better to the winter elements of playing in Green Bay and I will probably say NY. And based on what happened to Jennings today, if I were a Packers fan, I wouldn't care about the perfect record as I'd rather see some regulars getting some rest instead.

No question Eli is an Elite QB, he just doesn't have the flashy name like Brady or his Big Brother but he's definitely in that group. I was impressed after Manningham dropped an easy TD, he came right back and got the ball in the endzone.

None of that would have mattered if Romo made that pass to a wide open Austin or Coughlin didn't ice the kicker. Which he didn't it just created a block. Jerry Jones was his joyful self. I wonder who he's thing of replacing Garrett with?

I agree. This was shaping up to be the most entertaining Bears season since the 2006 Super Bowl season. As great as it was to see them make the NFC Championship last season, I felt like that team was shaky and had benefited from a pretty easy schedule. This team was playing with so much more confidence and especially offensive potency when Cutler got hurt. It's a shame to see that almost snuffed out.

Did he genuflect after the winning drive and then point to the sky? That's the special sauce. :)

One thing Tebow doesn't do though, is claim that his success on the field is due to God.

Remember, Stevie Johnson of the Bills claimed his failure last season against the Steelers was due to God, which is even worse.

As a Dolphins fan, I like Sparano as a person and was hoping he would do well, but can't argue with the decision to fire him. This club really should be better than what they have been the past 3 seasons. Too many close games that they have given away, and too many horrendous performances (like yesterday).

I was hoping they would get rid of Jeff Ireland, but rumors are Carl Peterson is coming in to run everyhing whih sounds good. I'll definitelt be interested to see who they get as a coach. I would like Cowher. Not too crazy about Gruden.

Hopefully though they can get one of the youg stud QB's in the draft. Moore is a good backup, but I saw people clamoring for him to be "the man" and I just don't see that.

Rick

ps...why fire Sparano today? what difference at this point if he coaches out the season?

No idea...kinda weird unless they want to announce their next coach at the press conference that starts soon. We'll see I guess.
