FIFA 12 Pro Club

Post by RobVarak »

Fellas,

I started a Pro Club. Old Boys FC. Seems appropriate. If anyone needs an invite, let me or Macca know. I made him a manager as well.

I'm going to be active this year making sure that everyone who plays behaves in a more or less gentlemanly fashion. No scolding, no criticizing. Just come, have fun and try not to laugh at how bad my finishing is. :)

BTW, invites already out to Hogz, Zeppo and a few of you other guys who have played a lot with us in the past. Check your player hubs.

Is this the mode you have to create a pro? or is it real players too?

Don't worry, pass to HOGZ, I think he's already beefed up his pro to a solid level!

EDIT: Jim - I think it's only created players.

Tons of fun. I can't remember the last time that we didn't just get steamrolled the first couple nights, so that was refreshing. If anyone else wants in, just let us know.

Sorry I had to leave suddenly last night - daughter still isn't sleeping through the night. Still a lot of fun though and I think i'm getting the hang of being the 'any' when Forensic isn't around.

Fellas,

It was fun for the 18 minutes I was able to play. As I said last night, I've been having a horrible time staying connected to the EA servers. Yesterday I couldn't complete any match I started.

looking forward to getting this sorted out.

Some nice angled D cuts against the opponent Macca. Now if we could avoid playing in the rain...

Enormous fun last night, guys. Macca, after you left we pressed Jimmy into service as any and he reeled off a couple cleans sheets in a row.

I like the symmetry of our current record: 11-11-11. I was useless as tits on a bull for much of the night, but it was a blast nonetheless.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that the Indiana guys, Forensic and Dogma, are playing almost every night. They played over 2000 games last season together. So make sure you add them to your friends lists and don't be shy about joining when they're online.

Dean - was great to have you back on.

Actually, it's been great to play with all of you guys again!

Like me, 10s, Rob and Jimmy discussed last night the whole meta-game of ranking up your players is ridiculously addictive (and much more fun than playing the actual game against the CPU). At last check HOGZ's pro was an 87 !!!

Guys, I will admit that I have "played" the system a little bit yesterday to get my pro to 87. After I read you could play on world class and then adjust the CPU sliders and still earn the achievements, I caved. I legitimately got up to 82 but figured to compete online almost everyone will do this little "trick". And there is a big difference between an 82 and 87 in my opinion after playing some last night.
