I was on a jury a couple of years ago for a Drunk Driving case.....I believe it was a 6 or 8 person jury and the people on it were just normal people with kids, construction workers, to college educated people like myself. It was a good time and would recommend doing it again.
I know someone that was given Grand Jury work for three straight months so that would have be interesting.

Ditto. Hope you had a great 4th brother.pk500 wrote:I pride myself on staying current on relevant news around the world. So I'm equally proud -- some may say arrogant -- to say that I have not watched or read anything regarding this trial. Didn't even watch the verdict today. Could care less.
I have no idea why this case has captivated America. Was there a bloody glove that titillated everyone? Was there a white Bronco chase that I missed?

Hope you enjoyed the holiday with Carol and Dom and expunged thoughts of the Klitschko-Haye disaster from your memory as quickly as possible.

No cameras in the courtroom. By law. Anywhere. There are too many stupid people glued to televisions, and these things shouldn't be ratings boons.

Agree 100%. The courtroom isn't a place for entertainment. People's lives are at stake.

Agree with Jack again. I remember thinking back to the late 80's when the show Cops came to TV. I thought it was a bad idea. It's the reality TV culture. People were actually brawling outside the courtroom to get inside to watch the case and who can forget the idiot who got 6 days for flipping off the prosecution.
