You sure seem to be trolling and not really defending anything you say. As I stated in the linked post...

Your latest post seems like more trolling, which we don't accept. SO you have a choice. Defend your comments, and prove that you're not a troll. OR be banned. It's up to you.

By the way, Jack isn't over there in a military capacity. He's over there working private security for U.S. contractors, but it's heavy, dangerous duty with a ton of risk.

I asked you to answer my questions regarding your previous comments because they were incendiary and pretty bold statements. When you make these statements you need to BACK THEM UP. Hence why I asked you to defend them. Making inflammatory comments that aren't backed up by anything is TROLLING. You've done it before and you've done it here.

For now, no creating a separate political forum. We do a pretty good job policing ourselves and keeping the political stuff in the political posts and the non-political stuff in the non-political posts. Though I'll consider splitting it up if there's lots of people that want it...but I don't mind having the posts mixed together in separate topics, as long as they are labeled as such.

I agree with you to a point. I hate banning people, and I've only had to ban one person. And I'm all about having dissenting opinions here. Healthy debate is great.
However, it's not a matter of not liking what he says with him (i.e. the fact that he thinks the war in Iraq is bad). It seems to me (and everyone else) that he's just coming into thread to hijack them with the express purpose of causing trouble and not debate. His posting is usually devoid of content and (for the most part) consists of inflammatory rhetoric.
As for just ignoring him, it's difficult to do that especially when he jumps into a post about sending well wishes to someone in Iraq with comments insulting their intelligence. What he's doing is designed to piss people off, not present the other side of a debate.
Anyways, believe it or not, I haven't banned him yet. (I'm taking his erasing his posts as some form of apology/retraction, although it could just as easily be erasing evidence of his past behavior.) However, he's got 2.9 strikes against him. And I might just change my mind. Any more trolls, and it's an instant ban, no questions asked.
(And yes....I know, I know. I really should just ban him now. But I (somewhat stupidly) believe in giving someone every chance possible, and then some. There's a 95% chance that he will troll again, and I'll have to ban him. But who knows....so we'll see what happens.)
I think the deciding factor should be whether or not this person has ever contributed anything substantial to this forum. From what I’ve seen this person is on a political agenda here. I do not recall him/her posting anything sports gaming related that was of any substance. We are a sports gaming site first and foremost (right?), so give the user another chance, but if there is nothing that adds to the sites/forums purpose, ban them and let them go to a political board and rant all they want!
