I'm curious.. How many of you played online on a regular basis and are impacted by this? If this were XBOX Live i'd be pissed because 95% of my xbox gaming is online. My PS3 is pretty much an offline only system. MLB and Little Big Planet.

Well, sorta impacted. I have DC Universe Online but I was sort of done with it, although not being able to play it at all has made me want to play it a little more. Also very angry that I can't use my classic stadiums in The Show without being logged in.

I recently got Rock Band 3. I want to purchase a transfer license or whatever it called to move my RB1 and RB2 songs over to the game. I also want to purchase a bunch of songs that have been released in the past few months but I cannot do any of these things. It's pretty annoying.

Oh yeah, and I bought the PS3 version of Portal 2 once it went on sale, so I could play the co-op via Steam with my friend who's got it for Mac. So, that's obviously not happening for a while.

I've been wanting to dl updated rosters for The Show for some time now, and the Wipeout Expansion.

Other than that, I'm mostly 360.

I'd imagine the COD fan base as to be in an uproar. On the 360, there's about 40,000+ people playing online at any one time. I'd guess the PS3 is similar - not to mention COD released a new map pack while this is going. That's some serious missed revenue for both sony & the developer.

Haven't played FIFA 11 in a few months.

Trying to pick up that deal on Top Spin 4, which I would only be interested in playing online.

I generally stick to single player action/adventure games, so not really too bothered by it.

Supposedly the newest rumor (and I stress the word rumor) is that the PSN will be back up tomorrow. My hopes are down.

Add a zero to your figure and you have the average number playing Blops on Live at any given time.
Sometimes it spikes to 600K,and a quiet Sunday morning may see 350K.
Throw in 30-50,000 playing MW2 and 10-15K playing WaW,and there's a metric ****-ton of people playing that franchise.

There's not much trouble to finding games for CoD2 and 3,either.

I'll try to pick it up soon. Closest Gamestop that has the preowned for the sale price is 30 miles away but the local one said they could get it delivered here.

All updated and ready to go. Thank goodness they did not ask for my old password, because I had no clue what it was. Apparently the hackers knew more than I did about my account.
