From what I can tell at Gamestop the 360 version has the same extras/exclusives the PS3 version has.

I'm starting to get excited about this game now that its release is nearing. It looks like it will be epic in terms of story and immersion. I will be getting it upon release.

I think that Gamestop has the same case for both versions but the PS3 is also getting this one too.

Rockstar decided to offer exclusive content for different versions. The PS3 version has an exclusive case the 360 doesn't have and the Gamestop and Walmart versions have exclusive content for both the PS3 and 360.

Hopefully they'll let us buy it on XBL and PSN.

at the store, Walmart will not take pre-orders. And when i go online (http://www.walmart.com), it lists the in store pick-up date as 5-27 to 6-2 ???

was attempting to pre-order from walmart to receive the traffic desk case (stolen car ring) and the $10 gift card. However, don't know what to make of the date listed above, and if i will be able to pick up the title on or near release day...

if anyone decides to pre-order via walmart.com. I advise not to. It is 1+ hour of your life, you will never get back.

Walmart is not equipped to sell pre-orders. Rockstar should not have awarded them any exclusives. Definitely my last pre-order via their amateur website.

I am still trying to decide which version to get. I just read that the 360 version is shipping with 3 discs...PS3 is on 1 blu ray disc. This damn PSN stuff also has me down on the PS3. I may just go with old faithful...the 360. Any thoughts? Anyone care ?

Tbh unless you want the exclusive case that comes with the PS3 version it doesn't matter. You can bet on a nice size 5-6GB install for the PS3. I'll be shocked if it's anything less than that. We don't know if the 360 will require an install too.

From what i've read the disc swapping is not a PITA and the other thing I read is that the game feels more linear than open world. I have no choice but to go with the 360 at this point.
