p.s. I am trying hard to get my ranking up there and am almost at
1300. I was below 1200 2 weeks ago.

Folks tonight is good for yet another test of the 1/2 hr. I want to hold off a week on the season to allow DChaps to be in on the first race, as he has agreed to do all the stats and such for the league.

I put up a sign-up thread for tonight's race. FYI, I like to hold off until about 12:30/1:00pmEDT to post the sign-up thread to make sure the left-coasters have a good chance of getting signed-up before it fills up. So please go ahead and drop a post in the sign-up thread. I wish we could have 20 in the room, but ToCA will only host 12, so we have to have this sign-up rigamarole, unfortunate as it is.

I'm psyched people are still into these longer ToCA races; I know I enjoy them immensely, and will only moreso when we start counting points! I hope nobody's too bent out of shape about the delay of the season's start! The FFs will take us 4 weeks to get through, so after that time I think we may have a good core group to move on to the next series (haven't decided yet what series that will be). New games, including IndyCar, will be out by then, so maybe sign-up threads won't be necessary. In some ways I hope that becomes so, but really I hope not, because it's great to see such positive response to these craze medium length races!

Anyhow, please go sign-up in the thread. And James_E, it's good to see you can host!

Zeppo...I hope you "count" my post above as enough to put me into tonight race. I think I am right at the cutoff point for 10 people, but I think my earlier posts justify putting me in there. Please let me know, as I will be feverishly practicing tonights cars/track in anticipation
