He battled so long for this terrible tumor, a great talent, one of the great ones in golf. RIP.

I don't golf, but his joy for the game, his zest for competing, was so infectious to anyone who loved sports.
A column today I read described Seve as "the Arnold Palmer of Europe." Wonderful compliment.
