Tough to predict---huge symbolic value, but essentially zero direct effects.

Agree. Not some distant bombing. This is a team of SEALs apparently, showing up on his doorstep and shooting him in the head.

Amen to that!! Especially gratifying the bullets that killed this murderer came from American weapons and well trained American special forces.

Agreed...it was a very "presidential" speech and one I completely agreed with. Obama did well on this and deserves credit. Out Navy Seals again demonstrate why they are one of THE Elite Special Forces Teams....Well done USA!

Four others in the compound also were killed. One of them was bin Laden's adult son, and another was a woman being used as a shield by a male combatant, the officials said.

I guess these guys were true to their "principles" to the end.
