I've kinda had it with the PS3.

Almost can't find buddies to play online games like NFS-HP or NBA 2k11. Most of them (most of the DSP peeps too) basically play online on the 360.

As soon as I get a 360 I'm selling these and getting the 360 version of them.

Good choice XBL is worth every penny and you never have to pay retail. Even if I had the same PS3 games as you it makes no difference, I now can't sign into PSN.

XBL is so much better than the PSN. I only have a ps3 for a few games (The Show, Uncharted)

I was finally able to sign in a couple of days ago and that was it, nothing since. Thank goodness you don't need to sign in to download patches. There's speculation that the most recent update to the console maybe causing this problem but since Sony would never admit to it we won't know until the next firmware update.

I say both Uncharteds, most def.

Demon's Souls is like $15 over at Amazon right now. A unique experience to say the least.

I liked Infamous a lot.

Besides MLB, of course you have to play 'Little Planet', 'GT5' and if you want to some shooters, try 'Killzone' and 'MoH'.

I had problems logging in over the weekend -- first time in however many years I've used PSN that it's happened to me. I did receive an update last night (not sure which firmware version it was) but I didn't end up doing anything else online to see if I would have any more problems logging in. Hopefully whatever it was has been resolved.

You finally got a PS3? Excellent! You definitely have to check out Uncharted 1 and 2. Both absolutlely amazing games, and up there as my top games of all time.

After MLB 11 of course, Little Big Planet, Hot Shots Golf, and Ratchet and Clank are a couple of my other favorites.

I was reading on Eurogamer that it looks like the hacker group Anonymous maybe behind the DOS. The problem also appears to be not just in North America.

Most PS3 games force a mandatory install and that's like 90% of all PS3 games. Some require a small install and other require around 5GB with Gran Turismo 5 getting into the 7GB range.
