LMAO! Disgusting behavior. I wish idiots like that were banned for a season or two so that players would quit doing that crap.

I always thought it would be a good skit to have people in South America behaving like South American soccer players. You'd have housewives flopping in the aisles of supermarkets, kids falling over untouched in the hallways at school etc...

That announcer sets a land-speed record for por favors right there, too. :)

Miget,

I love the fact that despite they're top of the league, in the FA Cup and CL and on course for a record 19th title win, United fans still can't stop thinking about Liverpool. If Fergie does retire after winning #19 (hopefully declaring, drunkenly, "I've knocked those scouse bastards off their peerrrch") - who do you think is in line to take over? Mourinho?

Anyway, Fergie's right - the media is having a Rooney witch-hunt, anyone who's seen that match knows that James McCarthy viciously headbutted Wayne's elbow.

s*** result for Liverpool today but expected when you go to a desperate team and play so lackadaisically. Nice turn by Suarez though.

Congrats to Birmingham - nice win over Arsenal in the cup final. I'm in awe of Wenger's managerial majesty!

Best wishes,

If he goes after this season, I would guess it would be the assistant, Phelan. No way Mourinho leaves Madrid before winning something.

Today we are, despite my reluctance, all Chavs. :)

Any game where ManU lose and Vidic get's his good for nothing Serbian ass sent off is a glorious one. Shame that they'll be missing the Serb and Ferdinand at Anfield this weekend. Karmic fair play for their skirting any of the penalty that Rooney's malfeasance deserved.

What a game that was though , not for the feint of heart out there which is why you never saw much of Nani.

Brilliant game be sure to watch it if anyone hasnt.

David Luis is a bit good so far. "I like him a lott"

That should've been a red IMO on Carragher, but the EPL should probably be more worried about catching the sniper in the stadium who shot Nani in the back 30 seconds after the tackle.

That should have been two red cards - was an awful, dangerous tackle that was completely overshadowed by the fact that;

1) Nani is the player that cried wolf - always goes down like he's been shot and then when he finally gets injured no one believes him
2) He channels the WWF/WWE by lying down, getting back up, sprinting to the ref to show him his leg and then, as you stated, goes down again like he's been shot. My wife actually started laughing out loud at this.
3) He started crying...literally crying. Like a baby.

Strange week for whiskey nose/demento who's started boycotting his own club's TV channel......

That Suarez lad looks like a player.... :)

Not ones that cry like children.

Raul Meireles, apart from being ugly as sin, is fine. But perhaps I'm biased. :)

None, they all have statues of themselves at their homes they dive and cheat and cry, always asking for cards and there hair is greasy.

There are a few reasons.

It can't be that they're too athletic and skilled for some EPL defenders who resort to rough tackles and get away with them?

Except that even their defenders were classless cry-babies like Carvalho.

Yes, that's it. Has nothing to do with the crying, diving, play acting, doing back flips when you score a bullshit contested goal (see the Tottenham goal earlier this year at OT). You hit the nail on the head with that one. All Portuguese are born with inherent skill and athleticism and that's why EPL defenders resort to tough tackles to stop them - they're nigh unstoppable. Why before he was injured, Nani already had an assist in the Liverpool game.

I'm buying JRod a Liverpool jersey for Christmas.

The pitch in Barcelona will be tilted one way. Look for them to rebound well at home.

Fabregas, maybe you shouldn't be back heeling so casually any passes in your own zone when your team is doing a fine job at containing Messi in the first 45 minutes.
