OT- Some City Of Heroes Pics

Was fooling around with taking some screenshots yesterday:

Turm-oil is my main character that I'm using when I hook up with the OS team.

I made LS as a backup, and to have someone that can actually hit people from a distance.

Hello COH people. I was just wondering how many cities there are in the game, or is there only one? Is the entire game kept within that city that has multiple zones, etc. or do you wander outside of the city to the outskirts a la Everquest?

Damn, those screen grabs look nice.

I am not a fan at all of MMORPG's, but this game is looking better and better, especially with the glowing impressions all around the web.

If I don't stop clicking on these threads I'm going to find myself in the car with one hand on the wheel and the other wrapped around a couple of twenties.

where can I find a list of the emotes? I saw some guy reading the paper the other day and he wouldn't tell me how he did it.

I didn't know you guys were playing until I saw someone post about how deep into it you were.

What server are you guys on? I'm on the first server in the list...have a level 6 fighter type guy. I wouldn't mind starting over in order to get with you guys.

We're all on Champion. My main is "Micro", a 14 blaster, and my alt is "Lord Asher", a katana scrapper.

bad /e newspaper is the emote to read the paper I believe.

I am on Champion with TC and crew.

Main Char. Boltman level 12 blaster
also have Earl Campbell level 8 tanker.

As I told TC while he was whipping me in ESPN NFL last night, I picked this up, but I'm freakin' paralyzed by a lack of inspiration for a hero. I put together a katana scrapper based on Ghost Dog to do the tutorial, but I just can't seem to put an original idea together for a character. Back to work in a few minutes

Hey webdanzer, how did you get the front shot of your character? I tried to reposition the camera, but it just stayed in the back of my hero.

By default, Page Up and mouse movement=rotate the camera, Page Down=reset it behind you.

Yup. Also defaults to the third mouse (wheel) button, I believe.

1 City....Paragon City.

The city is divided up into several large zones. 2 starter zones, some level 5-10, 10-15 zones, etc. There's also hazard zones where you have to be a certain level to enter. So far I've seen industrial zones, typical urban zones, a "Central Park" type zone, and even stuff like Boomtown, a Terminator-style post-apocalyptic crumbled zone.

But 1 city, multiple zones.

Turns out I am on Champion after all. I have a level 5 or 6 fighter dude named Parrothead. I'd like to hook up with you guys. When do you play?

Many of the other guys seem like they are on all the time

I'm usually on and available for team-ups from say 11pm eastern until 1, 1:30.

I've gotten Ghost Dawg, my katana-scrapper up to level 5. I've played almost exclusively solo so far, figuring that I wasn't much use to anyone earlier (even with the sidekick feature). I'm just short of level 6, once there I'll be looking to jump into the fray.
