GT I bought the 09/10 version and it was junk and I paid $9 for the game. From what i've read MotoGP 10/11 is no better. I'm looking forward to SBK 11, now that has gotten good feedback.GTHobbes wrote:Saw this over at OS:

Re: PSN Store Marketplace
Ok I'm at my wits end.
My PSN downloads are slow. Updating the Show or even the system software is absurdly slow. I have a blazing fast connection. I downloaded a 30 mb file on my iPad in under 2 minutes. My Live and Steam downloads are fine.
It took me over an hour to download a 44mb file from PSN. This isn't a one time deal, every download takes this long the speed is ridiculous. There has to be somethign wrong here, this can't be normal.
Does anyone know of any issues like this and a solution? Considering how f***in often Sony releases updates for the PS3 I have to do something.

Re: PSN Store Marketplace
I have the same issues when it comes to dl'ing patches or firmware updates for the PS3. I've read around the net that the built in wifi adapter on some of the older models may be struggling. I've never tested it wired so I can't confirm, but I use my PS3 much less than my 360 and this is one of the few reasons why
Nothing turns me off your system faster then me coming home with a new game that I want to play only to have to download an firmware update, a patch for the game I just bought, being forced to install the gamel, etc and have it take over an hour or two from the time I want to start playing until I actually get to.

Dan if your running WiFi on the PS3 try a different channel, maybe channel 9 or 11. Try different channels and see if the traffic improves. I have 0 issues with PSN but then again i'm hardwired to my router.

Re: PSN Store Marketplace
Sorry I should of specified it is a wired connection.
I have all my consoles and my computers, sans laptops, wired to my router.
There is really no reason for this,
I just ran a speed test and I'm getting 19.80 Mbps.
I kid you not I downloaded Dragon Age 2 off of steam which was like 16 gigs in less time then it took to get the last PS3 software update.
Sorry I am ranting just crazy frustrated and it is only PSN. Because when I stream netflix movies over my PS3 I have no issues what so ever.

Re: PSN Store Marketplace
Sorry have no clue why your wired connection is that bad on PSN other than PSN sucks.

Re: PSN Store Marketplace
Ha, tell me about it. Whenever I get a PS3 game I always try to load it when I'm busy so it'll be ready for me when I'm not. Even EA games on the Commodore 64 loaded fasterWilk5280 wrote:Nothing turns me off your system faster then me coming home with a new game that I want to play only to have to download an firmware update, a patch for the game I just bought, being forced to install the gamel, etc and have it take over an hour or two from the time I want to start playing until I actually get to.
