Re: NFL Season 2010
Pro-rated and amortized over 20 years...less than 5 mil per. Funny money to Dan Snyder. NFL Contract numbers are irrelevant is what I'm saying.
Re: NFL Season 2010
Sure hope McNabb is benched tonight, because my FF opponent has him.
Re: NFL Season 2010
181 yds in the air in the 1st qtr. Michael Vick is back !

Re: NFL Season 2010
28-0 and there's still close to 2 minutes left. Where's the Redskins D?

Washington is now making a game of this, finally the Redskin's D showed up.
Re: NFL Season 2010
Just amazing how much time M. Vick had tonight throwing the ball. Very poised and a great scrambler. Take the the 4th quarter off.

What happened to defenses this year?
That's at least 2 59-point explosions?
And defensive players have to watch out for personal fouls, especially on QBs who can only be hit from what, the waist to the chest?

Re: NFL Season 2010
Part of it is certainly due to the fact that there hasn't been a rule change which favors defense in about two decades.wco81 wrote:What happened to defenses this year?

LOL
http://www.theonion.com/articles/report ... -do,18455/Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, who on Wednesday added an NFC Player of the Week award to the Player of the Month honors he received in September, has regained his former confidence to the point that he will soon be ready to commit a horrifying act, sources close to Vick said Friday.

Re: NFL Season 2010
And there you have it...the true value of McNabb's deal. 3.5 million. LOL...they can cut his ass this offseason and not pay him sh*t basically. As I said of course. LOL.

I guess if he gets hurt and never plays again, the real guarantee is 25 million.
Again...all funny money in the NFL.

Re: NFL Season 2010
Crap I almost forgot the Dolphins play the Bears at home tonight. Can't wait to see Tyler Thigpen play. If the dude plays like he did last week then I say Henne needs to be the #2 QB for the rest of the Season.

Re: NFL Season 2010
That was sad. It's not fun watching a practice squad (a bunch of third stringers) on offense. Wow that was pathetic. Injuries are fun!Danimal wrote:Bears!
Re: NFL Season 2010
So much for my hopes Thigpen could be the starter of an NFL team. That was like watching baby seals getting club.

Re: NFL Season 2010
They're not all bad. On the bright side, they got Brandon Marshall off the field so that he would stop killing drives with dumb penalties.dbdynsty25 wrote: That was sad. It's not fun watching a practice squad (a bunch of third stringers) on offense. Wow that was pathetic. Injuries are fun!

Seriously, I felt for the 'fins in that one. I've been on the other side of the no-OL, no-QB equation, and it ain't fun.

You've just described EVERY Buffalo Bills' game since 2003. So I have no sympathy for either of you f*ckers.RobVarak wrote:Seriously, I felt for the 'fins in that one. I've been on the other side of the no-OL, no-QB equation, and it ain't fun.

And the Raiders since 03 as well.
Re: NFL Season 2010
Geez the Dolphins have been stuck in mediocre since the mid 90's.

Re: NFL Season 2010
I almost never say this but let's go Vikings!
It amazes me that someone thinks it's a good idea to pair Matt Millen and Joe Thiesmann together in the booth.

The English language lacks a single word that adequately encompasses the anti-chemistry that they generate during a broadcast.Brando70 wrote:I almost never say this but let's go Vikings!

That whole booth is awful, IMO. Then again, this is the same network that presents the most ludicrous wrap-up show in television.

Re: NFL Season 2010
Not to mention that Thursday night NFL games are an abomination. Pro football is meant to be played on Sundays, Monday nights, and on Saturdays during the wild-card round, the way the Bible says.
