That was disgusting!
Morons...you give up a TD in 30 secs up 10? They didnt even use a TO.
Wow. Thats embarassing.
EDIT: Nice job SJ!
Bailed out that pathetic Defensive performance.

The dolphins have the most underprepared team in the league. Embarrassing what happens on a 4th and 7 and a 4th and goal under two min. Sooo bad.

Stephen Jackson...that's all! Nice win!
Re: NFL Season 2010
I think that title would be Norv Turner's Chargers.dbdynsty25 wrote:The dolphins have the most underprepared team in the league. Embarrassing what happens on a 4th and 7 and a 4th and goal under two min. Sooo bad.
They are pathetic!
Re: NFL Season 2010
Dolphins are soooo uneven as a team this year which pisses me off to no end. They'll look and play good on D and then just get rolled, frustrating as hell. Henne really needs to look off every no and then. Defenders are starting to read that habit he's got. Nice game by Brandon Marshall and Jason Allen has also had a nice game.
Cameron Wake is just a beast on D. Why he was let go by the Giants or whoever released him to play in the CFL before the Dolphins got him is probably regretting it now.

AWESOME!
Lets Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: NFL Season 2010
I have seen TWO blatant horse collars ignored today. EXTREMELY blatant as to the point where there is ZERO doubt.
Is that still a penalty? or have they decided to let them play? I am good either way. I just want to know what the rules are for fear they will turn that call into another NBA thing. I am getting spooked with the openings the NFL seems to be creating for cheating.

What, like when the Dolphins on 4th down, clearly get a first down by about a yard and a half and even after review, they call Brown down where the ball was spotted? All sports are marginally corrupt.XXXIV wrote:I have seen TWO blatant horse collars ignored today. EXTREMELY blatant as to the point where there is ZERO doubt.

This would be #3...but I am asking about horse collars. ARE THEY STILL A PENALTY OR NOT?
Marginally corrupt I can live with. NBA style cheating I cant. Stern is a pig of biblical proportions. That piece of s*** will be roasting in hell.

Looks like it's Dallas' turn to feel the wrath of bad calls. That ball was uncatchable.

Looking at the NFC and how bad the division leaders are.... I think we should start talking SB!MizzouRah wrote:I love Danario! Such an exciting player to watch.

This is officially the 2000 season redux. There isn't a complete team in the league and the mediocrity is stultifying. So many bad games the last couple weeks. Close games should not be mistaken for good ones.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to all fans...Miami included. Sometimes I think you're just trying to pad your post count.Rodster wrote:Try telling that to a Dolphins fanRobVarak wrote:This is officially the 2000 season redux. Re: NFL Season 2010
With D. Branch traded back to NE, I was a bit worried about the Seahawks offense, especially away from home where they just can't seem to win. But the running game showed up today, they were able to knock around Cutler a few times and Hasselbeck was sharp. Good win for SEA in the windy city where they don't fare too well.
Re: NFL Season 2010
I'm biased but I actually think the Steelers are a pretty complete team right now. It's a such long season, though, and an injury or two could change that in a big hurry. Their next 4 games (at Miami, New Orleans and Cincinnati and at home against New England) should be a lot of fun to watch.
Re: NFL Season 2010
If I were ranking the teams today I would have them at the top. In a year where everyone has holes, the return of Ben makes them as solid as it gets.GTHobbes wrote:I'm biased but I actually think the Steelers are a pretty complete team right now. It is the other year and I wouldnt bet against that every other year or so thing.

Re: NFL Season 2010
I mentioned how quickly injuries can turn things around for a good team -- but I still liked reading James Harrison's quotes in the Cleveland Plain Dealer this morning:
"Pittsburgh Steelers LB James Harrison says fines for his hits on Josh Cribbs, Mohamed Massaquoi would be a 'travesty'"
"James Harrison knocked Browns receivers Josh Cribbs and Mohamed Massaquoi out of Sunday's 28-10 Steelers victory with crushing blows to the head about seven minutes apart in the second quarter. Afterward, Harrison showed no remorse and his teammates praised the hits.
"I thought Cribbs was asleep," said Harrison, the 2008 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. "A hit like that geeks you up -- it geeks everybody up -- especially when you find out that the guy is not really hurt -- he's just sleeping. He's knocked out, but he's going to be OK. The other guy, I didn't hit that hard, to be honest with you. When you get a guy on the ground, it's a perfect tackle."
"Harrison said Cribbs was about to cut back when he nailed him. "I was pursuing to the ball and got a good hit on him," he said.
Helmet-to-helmet is a good hit?
"It doesn't matter what it is -- he's running the ball, so that's a legal hit."
His primary thought about knocking Cribbs out of the game?
"That ends the wildcat," said Harrison. "It's out the window. That's his thing.
"I don't want to injure anybody. But I'm not opposed to hurting anybody," he said. "There's a big difference between being hurt and being injured. You get hurt, you shake it off and come back the next series or the next game."
After all these years, beating the Browns and knocking out some of their guys in the process is just as much fun as it's always been. And the Ravens and Cowboys both lost yesterday, too, so all is right with the world this morning.

I'm very worried about the at home with Pittsburgh because the Dolphins are 0-2 at home.
