What a bummer...I can't even enjoy Bama losing to S.C. cause my Gators lost to LSU :(
IMO, FL got a bum deal on the LSU fake field goal play. That ball looked like it moved forward
ever so slightly, but it probably wasn't conclusive enough for the ref's to change the call. If they
would have called it an incomplete pass originally, the same thing probably would have happed with
a repay...they wouldn't have reversed it. FL should have been more ready to stop the fake attempt
though. You knew it was coming. LSU always seems to pull games out of their collective @sses.

It pales in comparison to the crappy logic you've employed, and your apparent insatiable desire to pounce on anything Auburn for some reason. Remember that YOU are the one who brought that into an argument, not me. And remember, I told you that if you kept it up...

Les Miles is the luckiest goofball in the history of college football. I'm taking him to Tunica and winning some money...

He sure is. Two weeks in a row they should have lost. Someone told me they tried that same exact fake FG play a few years ago, but I forget
who they were playing at the time?

Agreed! Everyone is stoked here in Central New York. 5-2, just two wins away from a bowl because SU played two I-AA teams.

A bowl berth may not mean much to those here who follow big-time programs, but it's HUGE here in the Salt City as we emerge from the darkness of the Greg Robinson Mistake and SU football is rebuilt by Doug Marrone.

SU upset Notre Dame two years ago. That was pretty big. But this was larger because it was in conference and ended an eight- or a nine-game losing streak to W. Va.

Good win for your boys PK. Maybe things are turning around? Home and home with USC in the next couple of years.

I don't want to get too overoptimistic, BK, because the Big East is an absolutely atrocious conference this year. Nowhere near worthy of a BCS spot.

But Marrone has cleaned house up here, either cutting or forcing the departure of about 20 kids over the last two years who weren't committed to his system or the discipline of his program. I think SU football is nearing the proverbial corner to turn.

And how about Doug Hogue with those two huge interceptions and a ton of tackles at linebacker yesterday for the Orange? He was a tailback in the regular offensive rotation two years ago during the Reign of Error of Greg Robinson. :)

Unfortunately it's not a home and home against USC. The AD here moved the game to the new meadowlands stadium for the $$$$$, along with "home" games here against Notre Dame....but hey, we do have Rhode Island coming to the Dome in 2011!

Its always more about the money than the football. At least against USC the vast majority of the crowd will be Syracuse fans. Not so much against the creators of pro college sport from ND.

That's right. For some reason I had it in my head the "away" game for us was going to be at Syracuse.

I truly believe they are turning it around. That conference is ripe for the taking in the near future. If they can get more kids from that general region to stop go elsewhere they are in good shape.

Were you spyin' on me?!?!?! Yeah, Alabama played a fantastic first half, and Auburn a fantastic second half. Next...South Carolina. And the Pepto Bismol will be flowing again...
