A two TD lead for two straight weeks as Sam exploited the pass to the back flaw in the NFL 2010.
Lets see if we can hold the lead as last week the 14-0 lead was NOT kept.
LETS GO RAMS!!!!!
Gloating?!?! ...Im horrified!....Im describing my journey into the Twilight Zone.

I think I might actually be in the twilight zone. That was too easy. Now I am really scared.
Way to go Sammer the hammer!...and OMG but Im seeing defense every week.
Lions you are next! ...and I am hoping the NFLs anti Detroit rule is still in effect.
Seriously....Its nice.

Re: NFL Season 2010
Though I am happy with the Rams win I am very concerned with the NBAization of the NFL thats been going on this season. ITS THERE!...and its gross....picking and choosing rules and calls to decide winners...Its upsetting.

It's an issue that's been plaguing the Hawks for the last couple of years now. The Away version of this team is much different than the Home version. Thanks for showing up. And not playing...
Re: NFL Season 2010
If I'm Jay Cutler I come down with a serious "concussion" problem at halftime. I'm not sure who wants him dead the most: his own OL, Mike Martz or Chris Collinsworth.

A lot of those sacks looks like it's on Cutler, holding on the ball waaaaaaaaaay to long.

I saw more sacks in the first half than I did the entire Houston 500.
I am a patient boy.

Re: NFL Season 2010
A couple for sure, but this OL is utterly lost. Regularly blocking 4 DL with 6 guys and still getting guys coming through barely or untouched. That kind of thing just fucks up a QB's confidence and internal clock.Rodster wrote:A lot of those sacks looks like it's on Cutler, holding on the ball waaaaaaaaaay to long.
Edit: Looks like I got that one right. LMAO
At least with Todd Collins we have a real Bears-quality QB in the game. It's so much more...comfortable. Talentless, hack QB's are like warm, welcoming bathwater for a Bears fan. Just lie back and let the familiar incompetence wash over you.

Re: NFL Season 2010
Wow great run by Bradshaw only to have the ball stripped. So good news bad news. The Bears have the ball on their 1 yard line. I don't think that's a good thing for them tonight.

They're going to have to keep 10 QBs on the roster to maintain pace with the body count!RobVarak wrote:A couple for sure, but this OL is utterly lost. At least the third string threw the longest pass of the game for them. Based on that formula their 10th QB should break the NFL record for passing.Brando70 wrote:They're going to have to keep 10 QBs on the roster to maintain pace with the body count!RobVarak wrote:A couple for sure, but this OL is utterly lost. Martz has never been one to worry about pass protection. He has always had the insane idea that his TE should be able to block all pro DEs. Its just part of the offense. You have to read and react in under 3 secs or you end up in a body bag. Warner didnt see many of his completetion during the 2001 season.
Unless the mad one adjusts to the players he has and their abilities its going to get ugly....
Then on the otherhand its only been four games. It is complicated and mostly timing. Who is to say they wont get the idea, have it click, get in sync and just start lighting it up.
Re: NFL Season 2010
3 seconds would've been a blessing on many of those plays. And it's also predicated on being able to have an open receiver at some point. Collinsworth's hit job on Cutler aside, there just weren't many throws out there. When you generate that kind of heat with 7 back in coverage against mediocre WR's, it's going to be ugly.

Re: NFL Season 2010
The beautiful Rams on victory monday.
They have twice as many wins as last season, are tied for first and have the third best point differential in the NFC.
I still dont think they will win more than five or six games but God bless those lil lammies. They came through with a little bit of hope just when I was about to throw in the towel. I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel.

I noticed that. Collinsworth is just alot of hot air and and very little substance.RobVarak wrote: Collinsworth's hit job on Cutler aside, there just weren't many throws out there.
The surprising part to me is that all these clowns usually go out of there way to kiss ass.
Last monday night chucky couldnt get out of his own way as he spent the night erecting Cutler and Rodgers statues.

Can we please fire the special teams coach? Two punts and one field goal blocked and a kickoff return for a td...against your division rivals. Good call.

We used to have a damn good ST coach in Mike Westhoff until some dumbass allowed him to go to the Jets. Come to think of it we also had a damn good slot receiver and he's now on the Patriots.dbdynsty25 wrote:Can we please fire the special teams coach?
