Wisconsin looks talented. Lot of skill players on the field

and the 2010 Heismann Trophy winner is Denard Robinson. Last time viewed a running quarterback on this level, it was Michael Vick at VT. Not as flashy/pretty, yet effective as hell

props to Turner Gill at Kansas. A childhood fave (#12 QB University of Nebraska)

not a positive day for Boise State fans. James Madison. lol

Ouch...Jacory was embarrassing for the first half of the game then finally settled down, but by that time it was much too late. Crap.

Wow, now I can see why FSU wouldn't give Bowden one more year. Great game against Oklahoma! Hope those trustees are happy!!

That was one of the most entertaining ND losses in a while.

Seemed the only way they could stop Michigan all day was with a penalty call( Cant they ever play a fair game?) or a missed FG. That call that they so desperately needed on that last drive just didnt come and they were left as they always are without a refs calls.....Naked and f***in worthless.

Good times !!!!!!! :D

Good win by the Jayhawks..

It's too bad every year they cram ND down my throat, meanwhile, the Colorado and Kansas games were on TV. The Mizzou game was pay per view for the low price of $39.99.

Good grief...

It was an ACC massacre weekend.

Miami loses to Ohio State - at least that game was competitive
Va Tech loses at home to James Madison (take that Boise!)
FSU gets destroyed by the Sooners
GT loses at Kansas (good for the Jayhawks and new coach Turner Gill)
Virginia falls 17-14 to USC in LA (that probably says more about USC than UVA)
Duke and Wake Forest play a basketball game - Wake wins 54-48 (they must have hit their free-throws at the end). Next up for Duke - Alabama.

Hmmm..guess Boise St really doesn't have any competition in the WAC.....especially with Nevada hanging 52 on Cal. What a drubbing offensively.

With Southern Miss beating Kansas, the Non AQ's kicked ass tonight.

I saw that one coming. Auburn barely escaped SC a few weeks back, due to our young defense; a defense, however, that isn't as young in the backfield as Alabama's. They simply aren't the same team on both sides of the ball that they were last year.

Alas, I fear all this will do is elevate teams who play tea and crumpet schedules. Oh, for playoffs...

Looks like Steve Superior is slowly building another winner in SC. I honestly thought he was living off of his Florida legacy but he's proving me wrong.

BUT...since you decided to ram a stick into the hornet's nest:
Auburn's Ranked Schedule
09/25/10 vs. South Carolina (#10) (knocked off the #1 team in the nation...but beaten by Auburn, btw)
10/16/10 vs. Arkansas (#12)
10/23/10 vs. LSU (#9)
11/26/10 at Alabama (#8)

Oregon's ranked schedule
Stanford (#14)
Arizona (#17)
Oregon State (#24)

Boise State
NONE (Virginia Tech was ranked at the beginning of the season, but have fallen off the charts since then...for good reason)

TCU
Uh...NONE

The only arguable team with a comparable schedule is Oregon. That's it. Boise State and TCU have no business as high in the rankings as they are. No business at all.

Now...I wasn't spewing sour grapes about Auburn IN THE SLIGHTEST. You inferred it, and you were wrong. Don't put words in my mouth. I'm plenty proud of Auburn's successes this year, and have no need, at this point, to say anything but War Eagle, and good job. You want to invent crap and turn this into something? Do it privately, because you're a terrible mind reader.

Alabama, with one loss, has far more right in the top 4 than any of those teams mentioned. They simply DO NOT PLAY ANYONE, and the scores bear that out. They've padded the schedules, year in and year out, with cupcakes. Almost complete seasons full of cupcakes. Blowouts. Well, hell yeah, they're blowouts...they'd better be. How embarrassing would it be to lose to any one of the teams TCU and Boise State play?

It's simply a joke that Boise or TCU are even mentioned in the top 10 with pathetic schedules like that.

I never talked about Auburn for a couple reasons:
1) the upcoming schedule is brutal (far more so than the song and dance routines at the aforementioned schools)
2) I don't expect Auburn to win out. It's almost too much to expect, given the level of competition they're faced with (again, compared with the jokes at #'s 3 and 4)

There's very little anyone can say about SOS at the same time as defending either of those two teams. Not with a straight face, anyway.

Auburn plays 8 home games every year. They haven't left their region since 2002 iirc. They schedule FCS teams just about every year. Tennesee Tech. , Citadel etc.

If you want to hide behind the playing in the SEC fine but their OOC scheduling is a joke.

Says the guy from USC. And OOC compared to what? TCU and Boise States' ENTIRE SCHEDULE?

And there's absolutely no hiding behind SEC scheduling. Certainly in light of the previously mentioned teams.

BK, you instigated a really stupid and pointless rabbit chaser here, I gotta say.

You blamed other teams for their scheduling practices? But in reality you're blaming Boise and TCU for their conference schedules, which they have no power over. The games they do schedule they schedule much better than most.

Auburn's scheduling practices are amongst the worst. Again they play twice as many home games as away games, which in itself is ridiculous. They never travel out of their region, and they play far too many lower division teams. While TCU and Boise were playing VT and Oregon St on the road to open their seasons, Auburn was playing Arkansas St. at home.

I guess according to your argument only teams from BCS conferences should matter, when it comes to rankings and titles. Which is funny since Auburn refuses to play any of thsoe schools outside it's conference schedule.

Your statement that teams who schedule soft being rewarded is funny. Because that's what Auburn does and that's exactly why OU played USC in 2004 instead of Auburn.

As far as being a USC fan. USC has never feared travelling across the country to play highly ranked teams. You should know this from the beating you took at USC's hands at your place in 2003. USC plays more games far away from home against more BCS conference teams despite having fewer OOC games every year. USC also never, I repeat never ever plays teams from the lower divisions.

Boise St. scheduled VT whom I am not sure anyone would have imagined would fall of the map the way they did. They also played Oregon St. and will play Nevada, both teams are ranked and will end the season ranked.

TCU plays ranked teams in

Oregon St., Utah, Air Force,

I didn't put what I originally wrote out there so I could have a useless and stupid *debate* with anyone, bk...and if you'll notice, you're the only person in here who wants to try and tell me that I can't have an opinion simply because I'm an Auburn fan. That's just about the dumbest logic I've ever seen. If you insist on keeping this nonsense up, I'll just ignore you.

Ignore me all you want. Doesn't make an Auburn fan complaining about other teams scheduling practices any less ironic. Auburn chooses to schedule soft only play at home and never leave the south. Boise and TCU will play anyone anytime. Their conference schedule can not be helped.

By the rest of your logic only BCS conference teams are worthy of high rankings or championship eligibility. And only select BCS conference teams at that.

As far as debate their is none. Auburn and teams like them do what they do for a reason and there's no debating what they do.
