The execrable Mo Johnston finally sent packing by Toronto FC. Wish they handn't waited so long.

Best wishes,

Valencia went down badly tonight, most likely out for the season.

The Barca goal before half was sensational, with Messi finishing after the 1-2 with Xavi!

Pure magic. He could have netted a hat trick and more.

Check out Susan Sarandon's daughter Eva Amurri on some new Fox Soccer show. Click the link and then look on the bottom-left.

Sound not required. :)

Agreed, also glad he took that other ex-Evertonian with him. Good riddance.

Her gams are ridiculous, and she's not afraid to show them. God bless her.

Very nice. That show is an abomination, though. I can only assume its mission statement is to generate as many awkward moments and uncomfortable interviews as possible by forcing people with little or no connection to the game to speak at length about soccer. If so, it is a triumph!

Almost as good as United's - after all, what can go wrong when you are 3-1 up and into added time against a team in the relegation zone.

Oooops.

You'll all be glad to know that Manchester survived the second invasion of the Pictish hordes yesterday, by the simple expedient of penning them in Wigan until 2 hours before matchday. Unfortunately, there were a couple of people who slipped through the net, including one drunken, incoherent rednosed buffoon incapable of making proper decisions.

You what ? How did he get into the dugout ?

I expect to see a bevy of editorials tomorrow decrying this ludicrous obsession with squad rotation.
Hodgson told a pre-match press conference: "I shall make changes to the team for the game against Steaua. There's no question of that - it's something I've planned all along.

"I don't think there is any point of having a squad of 25 players, many of whom are internationals, and then just trying to play the same 11 every game.

Yeah, the show is awful. I just happened to turn the TV on when I got home from work one day to find Eva Amurri doing her best to make her skirt disappear inside the chair. As part of my... research on google, I found out she's actually dating the host of the show which explains why she and her mom were on it.

Well here's someone who does

Thumbs up for them for sticking it to UEFA, not for the first time this season. Best be careful though, or else they might find that the ball containing their name in upcoming CL draws might be a tad warmer than others...

Just when I thought Del Piero's beautiful strike would complete the comeback for Juve, Rudney's hat trick was even better. Check out his tying goal.

Strong game by Arfa, other than his theatrics, he was dangerous all day long.

The Magpies are fifth. Haha. They are riding the promotion bump. I sense a second half crash were they bounce around the 16-12 spots.

Yes, but the injury to Harper is troubling. Probable ligament damage after a dodgy challenge from Beckford.

Guess it's Timmy Krul's time now!
