I just beat #12 Nebraska!!!

First play from scrimmage, they get a 78yd TD pass... I beat them 20-10 and they had 111 yards rushing.. this might be the best NCAA ever.

What level/sliders are you playing on? I have tried using that guy Playmakers varsity sliders and have had a some good exhibition games with those.

Ya thats exactly what Im using offline.

Finished off season one with a last second breath taking beaufiful last second fg win vs #14 Auburn in the Capital One Bowl. :P

I didnt do the recruiting myself and boy did that turn out badly 8)

So I begin the second season feeling good and decide Ill change the schedule and invite a #1 ranked Bama team up to Annie Arbor to face my #15 ranked Michigan squad. It was a great game that had a very sad ending. Down 17-10 and driving for a last minute OT forcing TD we had a fumble. :( .....Good stuff!!!

This is a good game.

Gonna go and play game the next game as I cant leave the table a loser.

Thanks for the heads up Brian, looks great...

"Tuned Man Coverage so defenders will not jump in front of routes so early. They will still jump the route, but not as early, or frequently, as before."

Wish they had tuned that before Utah/Pitt overtime last night. :(

far as the game, perhaps this is why i've had more trouble completing out-passes, than all the other pass plays ? I stopped utilizing them all together

No prob.

EA games have been sort of hit or miss for me in the past. For me NCAA '04 set the standard for all college football games, and 2k5 set the standard for pro football games. Imo, this version of NCAA has suprassed both of them. Running games is outstanding, the different play styles of the different teams, Online Dynasty, the Graphics, etc. For me it's the whole package.

This game restored my faith that great football games could stiill be made.

Out routes you've got to throw on time, and have to make sure the WR has really driven the DB off his route. If you get the ball out late or the DB appears to be sitting on the route, it's probably going to get jumped. If they are in zone coverage also watch for LB's going hook to flat and then giving ground as they tend to undercut the out routes and get picks or break up the pass.

I did have a great play with Michigan, I threw a deep out, the DB tried to jump the route and missed and overran the reciever and it ended up being a long catch and run.

I had a pass the other day where my QB just heaved it down the field to a wide open WR, the WR had to wait because well, my QB threw off his back foot and as the ball was in the air, I can remember saying to myself, "hurry up" as the DB was running down the field to catch up to the WR.. as he caught it, the DB hammered him for a quick tackle but the whole play was quite realistic looking.

The game has moments like these in every game and well, it's one damn good football game.

So I am playing my solo dynasty as a one man online dynasty. I like the automatic uploads of pics and vids and the story creation. I also like the access to my stats and rosters and such via the web, as well as being able to recruit from the web interface.

Anyone else doing this?

Agreed. The whole Online Dynasty platform is great--being able to share highlights both in game and online are sweet. The best thing is the clean process of uploading the video--last year in madden it was a three step process--they removed two steps.

I ran into a problem with doing a solo online dynasty today. I got to the end of the regular season and needed to advance a few weeks to get to my bowl game, but I was only able to advance each week after waiting 20 minutes, meaning it took me an hour and a half just to get to my game.

On AA default, 7 min qtrs, I ended up beating Bama in the BCS title game 27-7 to finish an undefeated season with my Hawkeyes. The Heisman voting was really messed up, Ingram won despite only rushing for 1000 yds and 12 TDs, compared to my RB's 1900 yds and 19 TDs. All in all though it was a very fun season, I beat Ohio State in OT near the end of the season, and also came back from down 24-0 to Penn State to win 31-27.

Here is my online dynasty site in case anyone wants to see it. I let the CPU auto recruit about halfway through the season when it became too tedious, and I stopped writing game recaps after the first few games as well. I'm going to restart my dynasty as an offline one when the new patch comes out this week.

That is by design, but I thought I read that they were going to end that when the season started.

I have been using Jistic's sliders (on OS) they have worked out pretty well for me. Currently 5-5 (3-3) in my UNC dynasty. Probably going to start another one with another school after this season. I like playing with all the different teams and play styles, so I may actually play this as more single seasons with various teams. Although I am still recruiting to get a feel for how good of a recruit class I can put together.

SAT is Second and Ten. It's a text football game. I just started replaying the 1979 San Diego Chargers season.
