Great job Hawks! forcing OT shorthanded at the end of the 3rd...

Now they have to kill about 4 minutes of whats left of a Hossa major to start the OT.

They kill the major. Hossa comes out of the box and scores the winner. Nice and easy Hawk win.

Hossa decided to show up?

Tough night for Sid so far, -3 and his team is trailing in the third. Didn't think the Sens would have had any life left but that triple OT seemed to ignite a little fuse in them.

I think the Sens just ran out of gas/tried to sit on the lead. And much like game 5, it didn't work.

All in all, a gutsy effort from a team who missed the playoffs last year, was missing 3 top 6/top 4 forwards/D, and struggled with goalie issues all season long.

Going forward, if Leclaire plays like THIS instead of the way he played the rest of the year, and the youngins like Karlsson and Regin keep getting better, the Sens will be alright.

So, with the Oil not in, and now the Sens out, I have no desire for hockey at the moment....... I'm sure this will last one day, then i'll start watching again.

Do not adjust your set the Wings Coyotes game realy is just two tone.

Oh and Phoenix need to hit Zetterburg and not let him come out in front and get 3 stabs at a rebound geez, guy should bepicking himself up off the ice.

Another 3rd period comeback from the boys. Canucks finish the Kings in 6 as Luongo played his best game yet and the Twins displayed enough of their magic tonight to win the game. Special teams is a concern for VAN, without Mitchell and Johnson around, we can't continue to give away PP goals.

I'd like to have another shot at CHI after what happened last year, but don't count NAS out yet.

It's about time my guy Alex Burrows scored. Like the announcer said, even though it was only an empty-netter, maybe that'll "unclog him" for the next round. :D

So Jacques Lemaire quits again, but I am saying that his hand was forced by Lou. Simple issue Lamoriello. Hire someone that avoids playing in the red line zone and your team will play better at home and advance further in the playoffs.

Hope P.K Subban can play tonight and show his stuff. MON has some D issues as Hamrlik was in the dog house last game, but J. Martin may have to play him. Go Habs. :D

Habs coming out flying with two Cammalleri goals early. The second was a softy that was on Varmalov.

Now they go back on the power play. Need more goals!. 2 isnt going to be enough to lose by 3 :P

GO HABS, indeed! Sabres, too!

If the Habs and Sabres lose tonight, the only three NHL teams I care about are out: Oilers, Sabres, Habs (in that order, with large gap between Nos. 1 and 2.).

P.K Subban looks so comfortable in a Habs uni. Halak is rock solid so far, will MON be able to contain the Caps for the last 20 minutes? MON's PP looks good but they better start putting those chances in the net because it may cost them in the end.

They will need the guts they showed in the last game cause the Caps just keep on coming.

I was impressed the way they killed four straight penalties late 1st early 2nd which included a long 5 on 3 super kill.

Out shot 33-13, Halak will have to be incredible for one more period.

Lets go Habs! One more period and we get a highly improbable game 7.

3-0!

Almost going on the power play but the 2nd completely wrong and disgusting diving calls turn it into a 4 on 4.

Betman you suck cock!

Was Slapshot awesome or what? :P

Wow! and another horsehit call...Betman vs Halak continues.

F*CK. 4-2 Bruins with 5:11 remaining. A buddy of mine does work to open Tim Connolly's summer place on a lake about 6 miles from here.

Looks like my pal Jim will be busy this week. :x

Habs: Still alive.

GO HABS! My hockey life this spring is hanging on you! :)

This Blackhawks-Nashville game reminds me of Oilers' firewagon hockey from the early- and mid-80s! :)

I'm doing the world tour of NHL team radio networks via NHL.com while working late tonight. Pretty damn fun! No sports radio announcers paint a better mental picture for listeners than a good hockey play-by-play man.

Take care,
PK

Look, I am done talking about the officials and the regime that Bettman runs behind Daly, Campbell and Murphy. There's been some horrendous calls during these playoffs, and some unfortunately affected the outcome of some games, which I absolutely hate to see.

How do you feel if you were a NAS fan over the weekend? The way they lost that game, the way Hossa runs over Hamhuis over the boards and doesn't get called by the office, because number one, the poor Preds D-man walked off on his own, groggy but is OK to play tonight's game and secondly because of Hossa's so called good behaviour. What horse crap is that?

Some calls made tonight between the Habs and Caps were atrocious.
