Cool stuff, nice to hear they are looking at at least some of the ratings.

I really hope they tweak online franchises because I'm not sure I can go back to the offline ones now.

I'm glad I traded in Madden 10 for Madden 11 at Gamestop. I got a $40 trade towards Madden 11.

BTW Terry it's not official yet but I believe my source was right about Gus Johnson being in Madden 11. Time to see what else he knows

There's also this Game Plan feature where you go in beforehand and you can put together your list of plays for the season or for a certain game.

Like the sounds of that.

Me too. That would be a nice bit of help for some of us in avoiding a delay of game call.

Gus Johnson is a huge step up from Hamond. The atmosphere has just improved significantly. Definite day one purchase.

With the exception of his MMA play-by-play I love Gus Johnson. Maybe him doing the play-by-play for Madden will escalate him from calling Chiefs/Raiders games and get him some higher profile games to call. This guy is the new voice of college basketball and the NFL for me. More Gus, please.

I'm sort of liking what we're hearing from the Madden folks. . .of course quite concerned that we've heard nothing about Online Franchise updates.

Clearly, they were hung up on playtime and came up with this gameflow nonsense. . .

While I like the addition of game planning, which will certainly streamline play-calling. . .I think gameflow is going to be annoying and will probably be quickly turned off by me. . .the best part of the game for me is actually calling the plays. . .and really I don't trust the AI to call the right plays regardless of how well I have rated/ranked them or trained the virtual coach.

One of the Madden wonks in the video said that they regularly got nervous/flustered when trying to pick the right play in key situations. . .I couldn't believe what I was hearing. . .I think if you're confident in your playbook and your gameplan that should never happen.

The game looks good overall. . .I do like the addition of stick movement for the backs--I mean we have that in the other EA titles, so it makes sense. . .although, I thought it was funny that they said "we needed to improve the running." For anyone who has paid attention to the DSPFL, running has been key and king for most of the three seasons. . .so I found that to be rather amusing.

Finally, I think Gus Johnson unleashed will really spice up the presentation so hopefully they'll give us the full on Gus experience.

There were a lot of informative videos last week but I didn't post links, seems like no one cares about football yet.

The whole Gameplan / GameFlow thing is a wait an see for me. It has the right intentions, but we'll see the results.

Truth be told NCAA looks more interesting to me at this point.
