Awesome stuff! If Naples can put up with our crap around here then he should be well prepared to fight this thing. Glad he has a lot of friends and family around him who love him and are fighting too.

Hang in there bro!

More good news today from Jennifer:
The boy is ready to move to rehab?!? Docs surprised us with this news yesterday, so we are touring facilities. Looking at a few months @ inpatient facility, where he can get strong again. Still has trach, PEG, and another day of abx for pneumonia, but otherwise good. Tires easily, but feeding himself, and moving arms & legs!! No change in hearing, but voice is a little stronger.

Jennifer's latest:
Jennifer Greene Naples M keeps saying he's ready to go to Rehab; will prob move him tomorrow or Fri. No change in hearing, but movement in legs and voice getting better each day. Awake for the whole day, and finishing up abx for pneumonia. BP still low, but workable... needs to be ambulating so it will return to normal. GOOOO MARCUS!
I'd be happy to collect funds via PayPal so that we could send Naples something. I'd love to find a florist who could do a display shaped like a noob-tube, but I'm open to suggestions.

That sounds like a great idea - I am in for sure. Do you want me to PM you for the details?

In as well. If we can pay via pay pal to one particular person, that'd be great.

I'll PM everyone with my PayPal e-mail once we have a list of donors. Flowers good, or should we try to come up with something else?

Flowers are always good. But I wonder where you can find a reputable florist make something in the form of a noob-tube! Naples would surely love it, but his wife . . . ?

Maybe something Flyers related would be more. . . tasteful. This is a sports game forum nominally, anyway. :)

I take it you never watched "The Wire"? Some of those florists do amazing things with assault rifles and glocks. :)

I was kidding about the noob-tube. I'm sure if I call some Philly-area florists I could find something Flyers-related

Flowers are thoughtful. But with more guys on board for this cause, I was thinking more of a Flyers hockey jersey or MLS jersey of his choice. A replica jersey costs about $120 I think and if we all pitch in a bit, it's not too bad.

I like the idea. With the guys we have we could do a jersey , a card and maybe some flowers too.
