It just felt like the Madden line "oh we really changed the AI so it's now uber-realistic." Yet the reality never met that perception. So I'm weary on how much change they are going to offer considering that realistic golf isn't what many people want out of the game.
Guessing this is aimed at me.
I am not here to "sell" anything. I am here to offer my opinions on TW. When others ask specific questions, I do my best to answer them. My answers prior to release of the game are based on the day or so I have had with the game at TW Community Day. The builds I played on all versions were NOT final. In fact, the PS3/360 builds I played the last day changed THREE times that day, each new build incorporating fixes and suggestions by the TW Community Day members. What I try to respond with here is what I actually saw and played at that time. I cannot be held accountable for changes to the game that take place after I have seen it. The best news out of TW Community day is that EA invited double the number of community folks this year, all of which are dedicated TW fans, but very vocal and critical of past issues with the game. I recall one session we had with one of the lead programmers and we brought 4 bugs to their attention that have been in TW for the past several years. We were able to show them how to reproduce these bugs and they were fixed on the spot. EA has shown they are committed to listening to the TW Community and this visit confirmed what I already knew. We also left them a laundry list of issues to fix with the builds we played and most of them were fixed before we left Tiburon. I have high hopes that TW11 is the best Tiger to ever come out. Notice I said "hopes", I did not "sell" that this "will" happen....
Again rinse and repeat every year. It's obvious JRod dislikes Divot for whatever reason, who cares really. The only persons really to make an issue or shall I say Mount Everest out of a mole hole because as Divot has said every year he's not selling or promoting TW Golf videogames.
All he's doing is passing on information in the event someone who follows or likes the series might be interested in. I had NO idea about True View and i'm glad the info was passed on because I thought last years version for the Wii was brilliant. I was thinking of skipping this year until I heard about True View.
Again each year it's the same cast throwing stones and each year we state that we know that Divot has some association with the TW videogame and EA. Do I and the rest of us care HELL NO.
Too bad we don't have guys like him from other sports games we like so we can give our feedback to so as to make it a better game.

Good post. I agree.
I also agree with this:

But most of us DID know. I knew that he was an EA Community organizer or something like that for a while, and he might have had some other position as well that I can't remember (mainly because I don't really care). We know his current affiliation; I'm sure it's VERY clear right now, and now it's time to drop it.
First, EA Sports added new swing recognition technology dubbed the Advanced Plus Swing. Basically it will track your entire swing motion and angle on the ball, so you now can draw and fade the ball based on your swing. You can check the videos for a nice tutorial.
The Tour Pro swing reads the point where you contact the ball with a first person view titled True View. Yeah, you actually have a view looking over the ball like your actually playing – and it plays seamlessly! That’s the craziest part. You can waggle the club and open it, and even change your setup on the ball.
I give it high praise based on the fact after countless hours of practicing on my real swing at the range with my friend flip camming it, the verdict is I have an inside out swing and that’s just the way it is. Tiger Woods 11 Wii tracked my swing and angle on the ball and confirmed this with me; the ball faded like a line drive to opposite field just like it does when I play the real thing.
Just be careful where you play because you actually do have to take full swings at the ball; and you may or may not hit somebody behind you holding a glass of wine…
My Wii was collecting dust. That will change in June.
Come on,..lighten up on Jack,it would take 20,000 Eldricks being clubbed and speared to death before that would raise Jack's dander.
Maybe worth a pickup on the Wii,as it might straighten out my real golf game...or lack there of.
Its more likely to screw up your golf swing than improve it, i know this first hand having tried a pc golf simulator along time ago.
Unless your going to tie into a real club somehow it screws with the muscle memory.
Still i may be buying it this year as its not going to hurt my once every 2 year game.
The Wii version of TW10 was much better than the XBOX 360 and PS3 version because the motion control is much closer to real golf than moving analog sticks. I can never go back to golf games with traditional analog controls again.
The putting in Wii TW10 was great, but the chipping was a little too easy.

Couldn't screw up my swing anymore than it is now If I hit it right, its a slice..if I hit it left, its a hook..and if I hit it down the middle ,its a miracle
