Just want to add that my rookie kicked two of 60+ yds

Not to delve too much into kicking stats, but here are the notable kickers from the season.

Most FGs: 26, Justyn Price, Cle, 26/30 FGs, 47/48 xp

Most points: 165, Sebastian Janikowski, Oak, 25/29, 90/92

Four kickers with at least 10 attempts finished with perfect seasons:

Broncos 35 Titans 28

For the second time in four weeks the Denver Bronocs ride into Nashville on the backs of their fearsome running tandem of Knowshon Moreno and Peyton Hillis and beat the AFC South Champion Tennessee Titans. . .

An early Broncos fumble led to a quick 7-0 lead for the Titans but a late fumble by Chris Johnson in the 2nd Quarter really turned the tide back for the Broncos.

Tied 21-21 at half, the Broncos got a key stop and punt early in the third and then scored on this TD by Moreno who had a monster game with 27 rushes for 224 yards and and the one score. . .

This run made it 28-21 giving Denver their first lead of the day.

On the next drive, a horrid Interception by Donovan McNabb would lead to another huge play for visiting Denver as James hooks up with Hillis on a 55 yard pass that perfectly countered an all-out blitz by the Titans Defense.

Suddenly down two scores, the Titans would quickly score and try to make a game of it. . .a hurry-up drive ended with a two yard Vince Young scamper into the endzone making it 35-28.

Denver tried to run out the clock and nearly did, but with a minute remaining the Titans would get an improbable fumble and be set up to tie the game.

But the stout Denver Defense stalled them out and an errant pass on 4th and 6 killed the Titans season dead with ~30 seconds left.

The Broncos now face either the 16-0 Jets or Raiders. . .the Titans will go into the long off season looking for some upgrades on their defensive line that has suddenly turned into swiss cheese. . .

Great game. I thought I might do something with that last fumble, but I rushed my last pass and just didn't think my last drive through very well. You definitely have my number so hopefully I'll get another shot at you in the playoffs next year (we won't play in the regular season).

Broncos 35 - Titans 28

Knowshon Moreno was asked how he felt after his teams road victory against the powerful titan squad, "tired". Moreno was the work horse of a Broncos offense that controlled the clock 34:22. Moreno had 27 carries for 224 yards, he also broke two long rund of 50+, with his longest on the day a 60 yard scamper. Titan counterpart Chris Johnson had 7 carries for 91 yards.

Moreno however did cough up the ball 3 times, two of which were recovered by the Titans. The first coming on Denver's opening drive. Tennessee was able to convert that turn over into a 1 yard touch down run by Hall.

Denver answer right back, first with this big run from Moreno.

They then knot it up with a Buckhalter 6 yard scamper. The Titans responded immediately moving dfown the field on 5 plays and finishing it off with a 39 yard run by Johnson, his longest of the day.

After Denver answered with the first of Hillis 2 touchdown receptions. Chris Carr immediately put the Titans back on top.

The Titans looked poised to jump out by 14 but the Denver Defense made a big play finally.

Denver moved it down field again eating as much clock as possible and sticking mainly to the ground. Hillis dove in from 1 yard out (He had 3 TD's on the day) and we went into half 21-21 and it looked like no one could stop anybody.

The third quarter was a different story the Denver Defense finally got a stop and they proceeded to eat up as much clock as possible. Moreno had another big run and then finally punched it in from 3 yards out. This was after Denver gambled and went for it on 4-1 from inside the Titan 20.

Denver's defense stepped up big again in the 4th as Mcnabb rolled right and threw a deep ball just before getting hit and it was picked in the end zone by McBath.

The Broncos went back to the ground game and the titans were going all out to stop it, Denver caught a huge break converting on a 3rd and 5 on a duck of a pass. Then with the line stacked, Denver went to a quick flat to Hillis who was off.

The Titans went into hurry up and moved down the filed to score with 3 minutes and change left. With 2 timeouts they kicked. Again Denver managed to move the ball, and again caught a huge break as James found Marshall on a 3rd and long. The pass looked for sure to be picked, but marshall snatched it out of the air.

Fortune turned almost immediately as Moreno coughed up the ball for a 3rd time. Denver was able to finally put the clamps on as the titans misfired on a 4th and 6 and the Bronco's ran out the clock on a wild game.

Game Facts:
The teams accounted for over 1000 total yards.
The Titans only had the ball for 13:38
Denver was 7 - 10 on 3rd down.
James was 15-19 with 2 TD's and no picks.
McBath forced a fumble, had a pick and 4 tackles.

Outplayed much of the night the Rams mounted a second half surge that proved too little too late as the Redskins found salvation in the arms of DeAngelo Hall.

Parcells sounds just about right. The end of the game time possesion was pretty close but the first half was brutal. Zeppo was text book 90 Giants vs Bills as I think I only had the ball 3 times the entire half.

I turned that around for the most part in the second half but the two biggest plays of the game were both made by Zep...A huge 3rd and 10 conversion when I had cut the score to 14-13 and the Hall pick six.

Once again Zeppo...I have to give you credit. That was the best I had. I think I only made one really bad descision in the game and you turned it into an instant 6.

Sadly, digital Matt Forte has had little more success in his season than his real life counterpart. I've seen enough 2nd and 10's for a lifetime.

And even still, the leather helmet stuff is a little stultifying after a bit. I'm generally surprised at the lack of swashbucklers in the league.

B. My current set of WR is terrible at catching the long ball.

It was a heck of a game, XXXIV, and yes guys, it was almost completely devoid of big plays. Jackson and Portis each came close to breaking off a couple of big home runs, but the tackling was too good. And our QBs suck ass, so I don't want to hear it!!

I won the toss, ate up a a ton of clock and scored a TD. XXXIV came back with his own 10 or 12 play drive, but I held him to a 23yd FG. Next possession, I drove down and scored again, and then I stopped XXXIV with a few minutes left in the half. I drove down inside the 2:00, got to about the 20 and threw my first pick of the day at about the 6. XXXIV went 3 and out, so I got a second chance to put points up before th break, but o got hit by the only sack of the game, pushing me back to my side of the 50. First half ended 14-3.

Those points I left on the field nearly came back to haunt me. XXXIV scored 10 pts in the 3rd quarter, to my zero. I ran four plays in the quarter, the third of which was an INT on the 3rd down of my first possession of the half. Luckily I held him to a FG after that.

But in the 4th quarter, I was able to put a good drive together that included a huge 50+ yd pass to Randle El on a 3rd and ten, taking advantage of a blown coverage. He didn't have the breakaway speed to score, but Portis and Sellers were able to pound it in to make the score 21-13.

Then came the zany pick to Deangelo Hall, EA's player of the game, which the VA Tech product returned for the score. It was an amazing, one-handed, leaping stab at a very hard ball, which stuck to his hand like it was made of glue. The key was that it was a cover-2 zone and XXXIV didn't expect Hall to cut in front of the receiver breaking to the sideline on a shallow out. Great play by Hall, bu admittedly it probably should have been a tip and an incomplete instead of a pick-6.

In any case, it made the score 28-13 with about 6:00 to go, and despite another irresistable drive by the Rams O, keyed by a huge screenpass for about 60yds or so, the Rams never got closer than 28-20. With over 3:00 on the clock, and only 2 TOs, the Rams kicked deep. But the skins running game came through and Campbell and Co. got the first down they needed to ice the game. With 2:00 to go the Rams had no time outs, and with a 1st and ten the Skins just knelt on the ball to win their first DSPFL Playoff game.

I beleive Washington now heads to Chicago to play the Bears. We all hope Rob and I can connect, and I can find the time to play the game soon!

If you mean to play them, then if Cleveland (#4 seed) beats Pittsburgh (#6 Seed), the Browns would travel to #2 Oakland, while #5 Denver would travel to #1 Jets. So it's possible.

But who knows if the seeds actually work correctly.
