Irons? Do you mean like iron-on decals my mom used to put on my shirt? It take a while to save up the cereal box-tops, thoDiablo25 wrote:Big day for Diablo and the post office....BFBC2, MLB10 and my new Irons all arrive today.
Hmmm. Probably not as wrong as it was that i went to my local Gamestop last night at midnight to get it!Is it wrong that I am a grown man and I am like a little kid on Christmas Eve waiting for the morning?
Well WTF? It figures the year I wait to get a PS3 and the Show, they give us a crap game!Slumberland wrote:Some disturbing stuff at OS regarding player movement, ease of claiming players off waivers and such. the same. RTTS mode, for mejLp vAkEr0 wrote:Same here.sportdan30 wrote:Glad I generally just play a season and not a franchise. That does suck though for franchise owners!
That's new...and cool.RallyMonkey wrote:Quick question, did other versions have the ability for relievers to come in and throw warm up pitches from the mound once you bring them in? I don't remember ever doing that and last night when i brought a guy in from the pen i could throw up to 8 warm up pithces. You can skip past it, as i did after a couple of tosses, but it was pretty cool. Don't remember if that was there before and perhaps i just adjusted a gameplay option to not do it.

Well he WILL be in pinstripes next year. Maybe this game can predict the future.Slumberland wrote:Some disturbing stuff at OS regarding player movement, ease of claiming players off waivers and such. That's sloppy and would bug the hell out of me if I saw that. Sounds like something you would see in a 2K baseball game.RallyMonkey wrote: Only one thing bothered me and i'm hoping it was just a rare glitch...although it happened twice so.... I hit a hard slicing ground ball over the first base bag. The first baseman dove into foul ground behind the bag and snagged it. He got to his feet and lobbed the ball to the pitcher covering for the out. Problem was when he got to his feet (now keep in mind he was a few feet into foul ground) he was facing the first base coach and never actually turned to face the bag. So in essence his body was angled 45 degrees away from first and his arm motion was in the direction of the coach/dugout but the ball got thrown to the bag.
This also happened with Cano on a sharp grounder up the middle. He dove, grabbed it, and threw a strike to first but his body was facing left center field.
The difference between the two companies is significant as well. The Show guys are usually in all of the forums and they fix stuff the public finds...usually in a timely manner. I don't remember 2k ever doing that with any branch of their sports franchises.Rodster wrote:That's sloppy and would bug the hell out of me if I saw that. Not to mention the player ratings (A-F) are completely screwed up! At least Russell has inquired about it in a separate thread and attempting to get a handle on the issue.Slumberland wrote:Some disturbing stuff at OS regarding player movement, ease of claiming players off waivers and such. Be careful what you ask for, remember Madden? All they need to do is get rid of Rex Hudler who sounds like Danny Bonaduce and Dave Campbell who's lines have gotten old and tired.sportdan30 wrote:Commentary needs to be redone.
Don't fret over striking out too much. It happens especially to those who haven't played the series in a long time.tjung0831 wrote:I've played two games so far....lost 9-1 in my 1st game and then 6-2 in my 2nd game. 16k's in game one so I thought I'd try and cut that down for game two...yeah that worked out well since I struckout 17 times in the 2nd game. Also, how do I transfer my game highlites? I saved them and then tried to copy to usb drive and put them on my pc but it keeps telling my that mp4 is an unknown file format and windows won't even open it nor will it find anything to open it with.
Never mind...figured out the video deal.
Damn right, check this out from Kolbe SCEA team.dbdynsty25 wrote:The difference between the two companies is significant as well.
