Jack:

You're right -- they are nuts. But I love to run them and other overlooked classes like the Seat Supercopa's. There are so many fun classes in TOCA 2, yet it's easy to be sucked in by the Formula Ford-Global GT Lights-DTM-Indy car pattern.

I'm glad we could mix it up a bit last night.

Take care,
PK

Sorry I missed out last night fellas. I seem to have come down with the flu and had to get to bed early last night.

I got on Live last night and raced in a couple different rooms, never could figure out which room you guys were in. Maybe next time.

It was fun racing while I was there. Sorry I quit out so soon. I hope someone got an invite to Zeppo since he was the actual thread starter but got the shaft as I took the last spot in the session. Sorry, man. Oh, and sorry for my moving hazzard in the Seat Supercopa's. I've only drive those things twice and I still don't have a handle on them.

Don't feel bad. We raced the DTM's the other night, and I hadn't driven them but once (for whatever reason).

I spun out, hit the kitty litter (and other cars) more in 1 series than I have in the weeks since the game came out...embarrassing as all hell. Tried to practice up with some of the lesser-driven classes since then, and did a bit better in the off-classes last night.

You're not alone, brother.

the great thing about this game is how each class has a different "feel", but not enough to make you not want to race certain cars. It certainly never gets boring, that's for sure. Everyone may have preferences or be a little better at one class than another, but everyone can race somewhat competitively in all the diverse classes. You gotta love that!

Zeppo:

Crap! You didn't get into the session after I left? That's the main reason I called it an early night. Oh well, maybe we can do some pre/post GR:IT racing tonight.

I guess we are going to have to start breaking into 2 groups if we have too many for one to host? The best thing to do if you want to get in, is to start a race yourself and then send invites to fellow DSP'ers. They will see your invite and hopefully invite you into their race. That's really the only way you can get someone's attention. That's also why we all have to be good about adding each other to our "friends" lists.

You can't just add names to your friend's list right, you have to send a request to them while they are online?

Well, I popped into PK's room right off, but I was the next to last slot, so there was no room for you and Fshguy. Plus, I was expecting at least some of the people who responded to this thread to show up. So I went and started a room, and TCrouch and Gman99 and I raced a few, but it's just not the same without the crowd!

ruiz00tx:

You can go into the dashboard and add friends by typing in their gamertags. They'll have the friend request show up the next time they log in.

I felt the same way last night racing the Formula Fords.
I havent raced them since the 3rd day the game came out.

I spun out on a straight away.
