Splinter Cell - Double Agent Multiplayer REVIVAL!!!
Who's in...?
(I'll see how much interest before I start posting date and times)
I just re-purchased it and my buddy 'CentralScurtinizer' (he just joined the forums) has it as well. Looking to do either full on versus or some Co-Op.
I know Zeppo is down...
Scoop? Teal? Who else?

I don't play console games anymore, but I welcome any friend of Spooky's -- especially a dude who uses the name of the central figure of Zappa's classic "Joe's Garage" -- to DSP!

Thanks PK, good to be here!
Just out of curiosity, have you abandoned consoles in favor of PC gaming? Or just retired?
I used to do a lot of PC gaming (mostly the Civ series), but have pretty much just been living the console life the last few years. I think maybe it's that PC gaming was more frustrating to me because I felt like I had to upgrade various components of my PC several times (which I did) just to keep up with the next big game. I feel like consoles are a bit more of a predictable investment in that you KNOW you've got about 5 years of not having to upgrade your equipment at all, just software. That being said, I'm sure some of the titles that I really love on consoles would completely blow me away on a great PC setup.
Anyway, would love to hear other people's thoughts on this as I've seen several people posting re: their preference for PC gaming.
Edit: BTW, sorry if there are other topics about this already. PK's post just got me thinking

I abandoned consoles for three reasons:TheCentralScrutinizer wrote:

1. Price of hardware and software.
2. The constant churn of XBL games here and everywhere. It was a pain in the ass -- and expensive -- to constantly try to keep up with the Game Du Jour, either through rentals or used/new purchases/sales.
3. I wanted to cut back on video gaming as a hobby. Not enough enjoyment gleaned from the money and time invested.
I'm perfectly happy now just playing iRacing on the PC. I'll load up an old shooter series such as Ghost Recon from time to time on my PC and trick it out with all sorts of mods for fun. Can't beat the mod communities of PC gaming, either. I don't need to play the "latest and greatest" PC games, as most are just variations of a theme that has been done just as well, if not better, in an older game -- except for graphics. Plus my PC can't handle new games, anyways!
Back to your regularly scheduled thread, boys!

lol! Will was da man on a serious blood thirsty rampage!TheCentralScrutinizer wrote:Thanks guys for showing me the ropes, I had a good time! Next time I should definitely be able to stick around for longer.
Oh and BTW, while Zeppo's 2 zipline bot kills were impressive, let me just say that Will was a pimp!Except for when he went rogue and offed Spooky of course.

Don't roll your eyes at me! You're the one who fell for it twice! I couldn't believe that second time, because I had gotten you both in a very cheap, noob-killer manner with that first one. The drone at the end of the zip line is the oldest trick in the Boss House book, man! I figured you would have learned your lesson.Spooky wrote:Oh...and props to Zeppo for his TWO zip line drone kills.
Teal thought it was amusing, anyway.
What I can't believe even more is that you got me twice will full files on the return match at Boss House. I got very sloppy and you grenaded me with style on both occasions.
Man, I miss playing this game often. I like being a spy, but the game really binds together when you can play as mercs as well and get both sides of the story. It's just so freakin' fun!
For the record...you did not kill me with your first drone! I died just prior to that (by running into Scrut on the zip line and falling to my death...lol). But it wasn't by your hands!Zeppo wrote:Don't roll your eyes at me! You're the one who fell for it twice!
