DSP Madden Online Franchise Season 2 thread

Good game last night Terry and thanks for all the tips in the second game etc.

Terry and I played a game where we just used asked madden all game, it was fun and also ridiculous sometimes the plays being suggested.

Ok, it's official - after becoming a Cisco Certified (Im an uppper echelon Cisco eingeer - whatever than means) I'm ready to continue my Philadelphia Eagles franchise. Granted, I haven't played the game in weeks but am sure I can beat the Redskins, though I'm sure the Raiders would be a challenge.

Am I welcomed? Should I stay away? Let me know guys.

At this point I am going to leave it open to the NFC east members to decide. Just make sure you know are new off season rules.

I'd be happy to have a full division again. Right before the two redskins games, too. It's ok because I don't want to make the playoffs anyway, because I will have to play the Bears and that isn't possible.

When do we flip?

Week flipped

Next Sim date is Monday 11pm CT

Several owner games were simmed this week because the owners did not play their games, and they were games against the cpu.

Raiders 54, Chiefs 3. *yawn*

Oakland +5 turnover differential, but couldn't run the ball as well as usual. 65 and 35 yards for McFadden and Bush, respectively.

I know Danimal already confirmed eman's rejoin, but wanted to state I welcome him back too.

As for last week, sorry I ended up leaving my game for the CPU. I lost track of the day and it slipped my mind among a crazy week.

Rob, it looks like you and I are up for this week. What day works best for you? Anytime after 10 - 10:30 Eastern usually works best for me.

I have to be out of town this weekend but should be able to get my game in Sunday or Monday night before the flip.

Panthers beat cpu Ravens 35-10 in a Monday Night Football tilt in the DSPFL. Third string RB Goodson runs for 3 td's. The first place 7-4 Panthers go against the winless Buccaneers next week.

Broncos beat Brady-less Pats 41-17

Off their crushing loss to the Raiders, the Broncos offense went back to the basic's and shredded the Patriots for 41 points, Kelly James was 23-28 and had 3 touchdowns on the day.

Brandon Marshall caught 2 of those touchdowns in one of his better performances. As with most games Denver wins they dominated the time of possession 31:15 to 16:45.

Billy Volek threw 3 interceptions, 2 of which were snagged by Champ Bailey. Bailey returned the second for 106 yard touchdown.

Denver pulled most of their started in the 4th and a fumble by Buckhalter (8 car, 1 TD, 66 yards) and an interception by Orton on his ONLY pass attempt led too 2 late New England touchdowns.

What was hilarious is I was event going to throw with Orton but New England singled up Marshall and only had one safety over the top. Marshall easily beat his man and Orton floated the ball so much the safety was able to get over from the other side of the field to make the interception in the end zone. Man I am glad he is not my starter anymore.

Im positive Jared is rejoining, but I'm not sure when. He's out of town I believe, but he is definitely in for the long haul.

Hey guys. Sorry I just disappeared like that. Things got pretty crazy at work and at home. I left the league so you wouldn't have to worry about me getting my games in. Looks like everyone is having a good time still. If there is a place for me to rejoin after season 2, I'd love to be there. If not, I understand.
