Err, dunno - she didn't mention it last night (but she definitely doesn't like Tangerine Dream, so that was the red card for her...)Macca00 wrote:+10 to Naples for using the term 'cum dumpster'
Dave,
Just so I can lay to rest any concerns about Liverpool's captain, is there any info on whether or not Bridge's girlfriend likes/dislikes Phil Collins?
She presumably doesn't like hanging round with gangsters or beating up one bloke with 6 of your mates stood behind her, which might mean that she isn't Gerrard's type.
"The players come from all over the world, the money from deep underneath the Persian Gulf, but, as another, older City poster campaign put it, this is their city. They may now exist in the global spotlight, but they intend to keep it that way."

Like I think I said earlier, it was a case of pick your poison for his successor.
There's Rio, who deliberately ducked an FA drugs test because he was full of Bolivia's finest or steroids, depending on who you believe.
Then Stevie G, always happy to take on errant DJs with 6 mates as backup.
Or even Shrek, the OAPs friend.
So long as none of City's players get injured during the WC, I couldn't give a rat's arse who wins it.

Capello had no choice. And while early reports indicate that Terry took it rather well, he must have known that most of his teammates were not in universal support of his transgressions. He can just hope that the dressing room is not a major distraction now and count on his veterans. At least JT can concentrate on his own game.
Wouldn't Becks be a better choice than Rio?

He shouldn't even be considered for the squad, he's never captained any team and he's as thick as two short planks.10spro wrote:Capello had no choice. He is, however, a gormless, charmless Cockney chav, so at least Rio, Terry et al would feel at home with him.
As for Hargreaves, the very mention of him being seen actually kicking a ball in training had the dopy plankton who make up our press pack proclaiming that Capello now has to consider whether to include him in the WC squad.
Number of league games played in the last 18 months - less than 10.
Coincidence that, what with the IQ of most sports 'journalists' here being in the same region.

He could have chose a good player for captain. ferdinand last had a good game when? Im suprised hes still in the team, with Terry and him in the centre were in trouble thats for sure, it was going to be a struggle with both of them on top form but both arnt very good right now.
heres hoping the world cup gets there heads sorted or it will be a quick exit and ill be buying breakfast for my brazilian buddy.(new it was a dodgy bet)

Pretty much par for the course in a Merseyside derby. Can't believe Screech/Fellaini didn't get two yellows before being subbed and that Piennar didn't get a straight red after trying to break Mascherano's (no saint himself) leg. Whatever. Dirk gets his 50th for Liverpool.EZSnappin wrote: Good game to watch after that cheap, dirty Liverpool derby.
Well done Jozy, too bad it's for Hull but whatever.
Can't believe they actually took away the captaincy from Terry! It's almost like they're afraid of the tabloids.

The Liverpool derby this weekend was a thing of beauty on ESPN2 in HD, at least until the game started anyway.
Mr Blatter on the JT issue
Blatter joked that in "Latin" countries, Terry's conduct may not have been considered a problem.
Blatter said: "Listen, this is a special approach in the Anglo-Saxon countries. If this had happened in let's say Latin countries then I think he would have been applauded."
