Yeah unfortunately it can happen when the linemen bug pops up. Sometimes the linemen don't block the men in front of them and they shoot right through.
My biggest concern now is the cpu teams, for some of you guys they are not even worth the time.

Thanks for the recap Zeppo. Limiting mistakes and tightening up my early game defense has been a goal of mine as I've found myself behind one or two scores at halftime many games this season. Still, despite my best efforts, you were still within one score with the ball late and it could've been anyone's ball game. Catch you in a few weeks where I'm confident we'll have another tough matchup.Zeppo wrote:NY Giants 17 - Washington Redskins 9
I've little to add, but figured I'd toss up some G-men highlights from the game.

Titans wrangle the Cowboys
Titans 24 Cowboys 10
On a windy Wednesday evening, the Tennessee Titans used some key plays on offense and a solid defensive effort to beat the visiting Cowboys and vault themselves back into first place in the AFC South.
The game was setting up to be a back-in-forth offensive shootout/struggle, but Jason Witten’s horribly timed holding penalty inside the five yard line, with only 13 seconds left in the first half, reversed a Marion Barber tying score and led to a deflating FG leaving the Cowboys with a first half deficit and not a potentially momentum changing tying score. . .thanks to a suddenly stout Titans Defense, those three points would be the final ones Dallas would score in the game. . .on to the highlights:
Chris Johnson closes off the first scoring drive with a seven yard run into the end zone:
<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>
The Cowboys marched back down the field and scores on a 27 yard screen pass to Tashard Choice. . .(unfortunately, the game snipped the highlight all it showed was Choice catching the pass and not his sweet run up the sideline). . .
The Titans would strike right back and score the go-ahead TD when Donovan McNabb hit WR Nate Washington on a six yard TD strike on third down in the red zone (we apologize for Mr. Washington’s “dancing” at the end):
<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>
After taking the second half kickoff and leading 14-10, the Titans came out throwing and drove down the field and ending their drive with style when McNabb hit Chris Johnson coming out of the backfield beating a blitz and sprinting 23 yards into the end zone. . .
<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

Next week, the Cowboys host their division rivals, the Washington Redskins and the Titans will host their division rivals the Indianapolis Colts. Should be another week of exciting DSPFL Action!]

Badgun,
Good game. Crazy enough, but this game really changed after that holding penalty. . .I kept that lead and made it 11 straight away in the 3rd and that really shifted the momentum my way and took the pressure off of my defense. Anyway, good luck the rest of the way and into the playoffs. . .
Thanks again

Nice summary, Todd. I think you're right about that holding penalty changing the flow of the game, but you were just outstanding on offense and had a lot more questions than I had answers.
This was the first game I played this season that I don't think I could have won. Chris Johnson is just a monster and simply does not go down like normal backs do. On that last touchdown I really thought I had him for a loss only to see him break out of the pack and run for a long TD. I think until that point I had done a fairly good job on him as he had like 12 carries for 62 yards. But you simply outplayed me and you deserved to win. I don't mind losing games when the other guy is simply better.
I might add that Todd showed an incredible amount of class twice at the end of the game. With two and a half minutes to go, I threw an out that he stepped in front of and could have easily walked in for the score, but he made a beeline for the sideline to keep from running it up. I wouldn't have minded if he had scored, but he went out of his way NOT to run it up. Then instead of running the ball and possibly breaking free with Chris Johnson, he kneeled the entire final two minutes of the game. A real class act and really makes me appreciate this league we have.

Indeed, I definitely have made some strides, but I'm certainly not good enough to beat two teams at once. . .

I've edited the post. . .thanks for catching that!
Raiders rough up Dolphins 34-6
The Raiders rode a 23-game winning streak into Miami in week 10 of the DSP 2010 season, and had to face a suddenly-CPU-led Dolphins team lacking both Chad Henne and Chad Pennington at QB.
(Jared's RROD problems returned, so he left the franchise. Thanks man.)
The Dolphins defense limited the big plays from Oakland for most of the game. It appeared that the teams would go into halftime tied 6-6 with just 5:00 to play in the 2nd quarter. Neither team could establish much, and Oakland was just searching for any way to move the ball consistently against an extremely disruptive Dolphins front 7.
Then, Oakland marched on a 4-minute drive for a Darren McFadden run to put them up 13-6. A Miami 3-and-out later, and Oakland got the ball back with :05 left in the half. Seeing rookie tight end Cameron Jackson matched up repeatedly with Joey Porter throughout the half, Raiders QB Dane Morrow took a shot and found Jackson again locked up in man coverage with the much slower OLB:
<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>
Suddenly it was 20-6 at the half, and a close game became typical grind-it-out Raiders football in the 2nd half, as Oakland was able to run the ball 25 times in the second half (as opposed to 10 passes) and burn down the clock to secure the 34-6 win.
One notable sequence had slumping Miami rookie WR Brandon Trammell dropping back to back passes that could have given Miami a spark in the 4th quarter:
<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

But in the end, it wasn't to be. With Henne and Pennington both out, QB Pat White led the Dolphins to just 188 yards of offense (compared to Oakland's 416), and was 11-of-24 for 131 yards and 4 interceptions.
Nnamdi Asomugha had a pair of picks when White chose to challenge him in 1-on-1 coverage, and workhorse Darren McFadden was player of the game with 27 carries for 103 yards and 3 TD's.

I'm really bummed we couldn't play, Jared. I still have yet to actually play you in this game. Hopefully your 360 is fixed and we get a playoff matchup.

Just a reminder flipping tonight, there were 2 games left to be played against the cpu. I guess the league is starting to crawl when I have to bother people to play the cpu.
This is part of the reason I didn't post all the FA for each team, as I am waiting to see who is going to play again next season.

Pittsburgh knocks off the Ravens in rainy Baltimore 31-17 and improve their record to 8-2.
After receiving the opening kickoff the Steelers score on their first play of the game when Willie Parker breaks tackles for a 69 yard score. The Ravens would then answer with a scoring drive that ended with an 8 yard td pass to Todd Heap. LeRon McClain would score on a 1 yard td pass reception to put Baltimore up 14-7 at the end of the first quarter.
Second quarter saw the teams exchange field goals before LeRon James would tie the game on a 79 yard run just before halftime.
The Steeler defense came up big in the second half intercepting Joe Flacco twice and held Baltimore scoreless while LeRon James and Willie Parker each added short td runs to seal the win.
LeRon James was player of the game with 11 rushes for 195 yards and 2 tds. Pittsburgh will host Cleveland next week while Baltimore hosts the Panthers.

Maddness at Lucas Oil Stadium
Titans 52 Colts 45
The Titans overcome an incredible CPU Peyton Manning Performance, a late 14-point deficit and the season ending injury to Brian Westbrook to earn a hard fought comeback victory in Indianapolis.
The Interim-CPU Coach led an inspired, no make that a possessed Indianapolis Colts on to Lucas Oil Field to try and exact revenge against their Division Rivals, the Tennessee Titans. . .and folks, they came within one minute and fifteen seconds of doing so. . .
The game was a crazy, seemingly all offense all the time affair, but the Titans Defense who took most of the game off, created a huge fumble late in the 4th to ultimately turn the tide and close out the Colts on the road.
Peyton Manning was absolutely on fire, hitting 22 of 27 passes for 378 yards and four Touchdowns. . .he had the Titans Pass Defense crying uncle most of the game and really kept the Titans Defensive Line at bay as well. . .his only mistake, an early interception by Titans’ Newcomer, Chris Carr, had little to do to affect the outcome. On the Titans side of the ball, it was Resident Savior, Chris Johnson coming up big again getting 264 yards on 25 carries (10.6) and 4 TDs to spark and complete the comeback.
The Titans Offense was stunned by the early loss of Brian Westbrook, he had been a stalwart in the passing game and essentially was long-time teammate, Donovan McNabb’s security blanket. His broken collar bone will put him on the shelf for the rest of the year. . .GM/Coach Doyle has already hit the waiver wire to find a replacement. . .this well certainly mean more playing time for second year back, Javon Ringer.
The Colts opened the scoring with a Defensive Score, hitting McNabb while trying to pass and returning the resulting INT 56 yards for the TD. They would then trade scores through the second quarter with the Titans taking a short-lived 21-14 lead on Chris Johnson’s first TD of the day, a 4 yard plunge.
Then disaster struck the Titans on both sides of the ball. . .in the matter of six minutes, they gave up a passing TD to Joseph Addai of 71 yards. . .as well as these two scores:
Vince Young foolishly tosses a jump ball that Mike Mickens takes 52 Yards back to the house:

After stopping the Titans and getting a solid 40+ yard punt return, the Colts strike again to stun the visiting Titans—again it’s Joseph Addai on the receiving end of a 23 yard TD with less than 10 seconds left in the half:
<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>
So, after the three late scores in succession and 28 2nd Quarter points in total, the CPU led Colts had the game in hand up 14, 35-21 and really looking like they could do whatever they wanted—whenever they wanted. . .
The Titans looking to regroup, took the second-half kickoff and threw everything they had at the Colts Defense. . .eventually closing out an eight minute drive with Vince Young’s QB sneak from the one yard line.
The Colts again marched right back down the field and Manning shoved it right down the Titans throats once again, hitting Austin Collie on a 14 yard TD strike once again preserving their 14 point lead 42-28.
Much to the announcers surprise (apparently you should never run the ball in the 4th quarter), Chris Johnson grabs a whole herd of momentum from the Colts, taking the very next offensive play from scrimmage and running untouched 75 yards to the end zone:
<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>
So at this point, I really expected the CPU Colts to start running the ball, and really the only way I was still in the game was their reluctance to do so. . .somehow, on the next drive I stop the Manning train and hold the Colts to a FG. . .I get the ball back and kick a FG of my own. . .time left on the clock. . .about 2:20.
The Colts running game was then showcased. . .to disastrous results. . .they ran the ball three times and gained 2 yards. . .in fact the Colts overall only had 13 rushing yards all day on 16 attempts. . .the Colts had to punt. . .after getting a tough third down conversion. . .the Titans All-Pro, Chris Johnson strikes again—this time from 57 yards out:
<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>
That score tied the game at 45, but I figured I was still possibly screwed because I scored too fast. . .the last thing I wanted to do was give insanely good CPU Manning a minute left in the game. . .and I was right too. . .he hit on the first two passes giving the Colts two quick first downs. . .but the eventual play of the game happened on his third pass attempt. . .Stephen Tulloch strips Reggie Wayne and Asante Samuel recovers—taking the life out of the Lucas Oil Crowd:
<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>
This would give the ball to the Titans on the Colts’ 38 yard line. . .a few Chris Johnson runs and a one yard dive into the end zone for his fourth TD of the day, would ultimately seal the Colts fate and save the Titans from a horrid flight home.
In week 12 action, the Titans will host the Miami Dolphins, where a hopefully returning Jared will be looking for some payback from the playoff loss in season 1. . .the Colts may see their head coach and GM, Scoop Brady come back to the fold as well. . .when they face off against the CPU Chargers in San Diego.

Scoop,
Well, your virtual boys nearly gave me a kick square in the nuts tonight. They certainly kicked me in the head a couple of times. . .as that was simply one of the hardest CPU games I’ve had to play in quite awhile. Everything I threw at Peyton was scoffed at as he tossed the ball around like it was nothing. It’s really a shame that the CPU didn’t try running earlier as that certainly would have sealed it for them. Anyway, I hope we can get a proper rematch in the playoffs. . .I think you certainly have a clear path there with this impressive Colts team. Plus Bob Sanders comes back next week. . .
Anyway, I will miss Brian Westbrook for sure, but a lot of teams have had worst injuries to say the least. Biggest lesson learned: don’t take the CPU for granted . . .scoring a ton of points some weeks doesn’t mean that they cannot turn the tables on you when they want. . .

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

Rams sneak by the never say die cpu Chargers 20-17
Leading 17-3 and with the ball early in the 4th qtr the game looked well in hand for our heroes.
Then it happened. Everyone on the team forgot how to play at exactly the same time. No more running. No more passing. No more pass coverage. No more blocking or tackling.
The simply amazing Chargers would not be denied the tie. Scoring the second TD on a 70+ yard run by Tomlinson.
Deja vous? ...There we sat tied at 17-17. With the same score and almost in exactly the same situation we were in the previous game vs the Bucs. Where TB had come back from down 17-7 in the 4th to tie the game on a 60 yd fumble retun with 1:30 to play. The miracle in the Ray if you will.
Then magically, just as they did the previous week, my lil lammies all remembered how to play. Driving the ball easily through a suddenly non existant SD defense to set up a chipshot game winning fg on the games final play.

Dallas Cowboys 28 - Washington Redskins 24
In a battle that will likely determine the winner of the NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys went into FedEx Field and defeated the Redskins 28-24. The game saw two punts, one for each side, two interceptions by Romo, one in the endzone, and one field goal by the Redskins in the 4th quarter from inside the red zone that made the difference, as all the other scores by both teams were Touchdowns.
The Redskins won the turnover battle 2-1, but were unable to capitalize on their breaks. The Cowboys took their turnover, a fumble by Randle El on a kickoff return, and quickly took a 14-7 lead in the first quarter.
Both teams' star running backs, Clinton Portis for the Skins and Marion Barber for the Cowboys, ended the game with nearly identical numbers, including 8.5yd per carry averages. Each had huge plays in the run game, and each had long TDs. But the Cowboys also had Felix Jones adding to their punishing rushing attack.
Neither defense gave up anything easily, yet big plays showed up throughout the game. Entering the 4th Quarter, the game was tied 21-21 in a classic Redskins - Cowboys clash. Dallas forced the Skins to go for a FG from inside the red zone, after Washington had gone for it on 4th and 2 on the Cowboys 34 and succeeded. Romo and Co. then took the ball and ate up the clock, eventually scoring from 8yds out with less than two minutes remaining on and excellent run that saw Felix Jones break a tackle by Andre Carter in the backfield, and then scamper in for the score and the key 4 point lead. With only 1:20 left on the clock, and one time out left after the Cowboys forced the issue inside the Redskins 20, there just wasn't enough time for Jason Campbell to drive the length of the field for the winning score.
It was a tough battle, but the 8-2 Cowboys sit atop the Division for a reason, and though they've split this years' games with the Skins, they look to repeat as NFC East Division Champions. The Redskins, who fall to 6-4 with their second consecutive loss, will need to perform well down the stretch if they hope to make the Playoffs for the first time in the DSPFL. For Washington, a game against the CPU Packers is sandwiched between two CPU Eagles games, before the 'can they connect Bowl' with the Chicago Bears.
Good game, Badgun. Really, it was a classic battle, and so close in the end. It could have ended either way, it seems. It felt like one of those games where whoever has it last is going to win. I just needed to force that punt, or somehow get the ball back, after that go-ahead FG in the 4th, but I just couldn't stop the massive plowing of your offensive line. So many big, exciting plays, too, including the INT by Orakpo in the red zone, and Barber's 66 yd TD run in the first quarter after my long, 'it's like pulling teeth!' drive to open the scoring.
Good luck the rest of the way, but rest assured I'm hoping you drop a game or two and let me back in with a shot at the Division!
Danimal, are you still copying highlights from the EA Sports site? I have a couple of defensive highlights from the Giants game I could put up if you have my few gems from my CPU games, and then I can put up the ones I have from this game.

49ers 31 - Saints 14
The 49ers beat the Saints today behind the running/catching of Frank Gore. Gore rushed 22 times for 167 yards and 1 TD, he also caught 6 passes for 74 yards and 2 TDs.
Drew Brees completed 24 of 31 passes for 333 yards and two TDs. The 49ers defensed lived by the bend but don't break philosophy, giving up a lot of yards, but forcing enough punts to keep the Saints at bay.
Alex Smith completed 11 of 16 passes for 99 yards, and (for the first time since Corgy took over coaching the team) no interceptions. Even with his first turnover-less game of the season, it appears Smith has lost his starting position. Smith was benched mid-way through the 3rd quarter after throwing a couple passes directly at defenders. In previous games, it was those exact passes that were picked off multiple times a game. Thankfully the Saints defenders possess stone hands. Anyway, Nate Davis finished the Saints game, and immediately following the game, the 49ers coach announced Davis would start for the remainder of the year.
The 49ers visit St Louis next week in the first of 4 straight vs NFC West foes, two of which against the Rams. The games vs the Rams may go a long way in determining the NFC West division champ.

Panthers De-wing Falcons
Live from Charlotte, North Carolina, its "The Jonathan Stewart Show"!!! While the fact that the Panthers are playing without their starting RB DeAngelo Williams may be tragic, the performance of his backup against the Falcons was downright comedic in the way the RB stepped onto the national stage in the DSPFL and gashed the Falcons defense and special teams. Stewart immediately showed his live studio audience what to expect from today's show by taking the opening kickoff 95 yards. Stewart would then have encore, after encore, after encore. After watching his QB Delhomme hit rookie receiver Steve Lucious for a 17 yard td pass in the second quarter, Stewart took off on 2 TD jaunts of 68 and 67 yards respectively to put his crew up 28-10. Following a 29 yard field goal by Panther K R.Lloyd, Stewart finished the scoring with another TD sprint of 67 yards, busting through several tackles. Stewart is making a statement to the Panthers coaching staff, who while with the Cowboys last season had to deal with injury to there then starting RB Marion Barber, that he should be taken into consideration for the starting position even when the injured Williams returns.
Stewart finished the game with a total of 267 yards rushing on 18 carries with 3 TDs and 164 KR yards with 1 TD.
With the win and the Saints loss to the Niners, the Panthers move into sole possession of first place in the NFC South. The Panthers staff, while not trying to look to far ahead, are optimistic as they look to win their second straight division title, after winning the NFC East with Dallas last season, and taking over a Panthers franchise that started the season 0-3. There is still a long way to go in this second season of the DSPFL, but the Panthers have recovered from the abysmal start and are moving full steam ahead.

Raiders ride McFadden to victory
The Oakland Raiders came into the midseason showdown with the Denver Broncos with a sluggish offense of late. Thankfully for the Raiders, the defense had allowed just 78 points through 9 games.
In week 11 against the 8-1 Denver Broncos, the Raiders forced timely turnovers (3 interceptions to 1) and rode a bruising rushing attack (29 carries for 244 yards and 4 scores) to a 45-10 victory.
Denver had one of the best games of the season against Oakland's D, with 273 yards of offense, including 227 yards passing. However, it was another week, another opponent who couldn't establish a ground game against one of the league's premier run-stuffing units. The problem was the Raiders' racking up 433 yards of offense themselves, and the defense.
Oakland allowed just 46 yards on the ground and was able to spring tailback Darren McFadden for huge gains in the second half to turn a 17-7 halftime score into the lopsided final.
"I just followed some huge blocks and was able to see daylight", McFadden commented. "I don't know what was going on out there, but I'd suddenly have open field with 60 yards to go. It's easy to rack up 200 plus when you're not touched for 180 of it".
McFadden finished the day with 23 carries for 241 yards and 3 scores, with a long of 68 yards. Counterpart Knowshon Moreno had 10 carries for 30 yards, with the Broncos abandoning the running game after halftime in an effort to catch up to the bruising Raiders ball-control offense.
"Once they get up on you like they did, it's tough to play your normal offense", QB Kelly James quipped in the post-game press conference. James, one of the ROTY contenders, had a lackluster day, completing 21 of 39 passes for 227 yards and a score with the 3 INT's. "Once they get more than a TD lead on you, they're able to press you and take away a lot of what you want to do in the middle of the field. They force you to throw deep, and that's frequently into double coverage".
At the end of the day, the Broncos had played a fairly competitive game, despite their coach implementing an entirely new offensive gameplan before kickoff. Denver will likely treat the next two games (against the CPU Patriots and Chiefs) as practice fields before facing XXXIV's Rams in week 14 for real.
Denver will hope to concoct a much better defensive gameplan in week 16 than today's effort, when Oakland was able to convert 5 of 7 third downs for a decisive time of possession (and ballgame) victory.

What's up with the CPU Bills being sort of good?
I just outlasted them... 22-9, but it was only 14-9 through most of the 4th quarter until I just went all three-yard-and-a-cloud-of-dust to eat up the rest of the quarter (and score, thankfully).
Sanchez threw three interceptions, including one that sailed incredibly about four feet over the intended target and into the waiting arms of a Bills safety. They moved the ball fairly well, too.

Texans Tame Feisty Jaguars, Score 21 Points in Last Two Minutes
HOUSTON - They say that a caged animal is the most dangerous, and a Jacksonville team that had been abused and backed into a corner lunged at the Houston Texans, giving Houston a game until Houston used a late surge to win 34-13.
Despite dominating the game statistically, Houston couldn't put Jacksonville away for most of the contest, thanks to the Jaguars pass rush. Jacksonville racked up eight sacks that stalled Houston's drives or forced the Texans to settle for field goals.
Houston went up 10-0 when quarterback Matt Schaub connected with Andre Johnson for a 17-yard touchdown:

Jacksonville added a second-quarter field goal to make it a one-touchdown lead at halftime.
In the third, the Jaguars defense stopped a long Texans drive, forcing a field goal and keeping the game close at 13-3. The Jaguars would then capitalize in the fourth quarter, scoring a field goal and then using a 38-yard by Maurice Jones-Drew to set up a one-yard touchdown by the halfback, tying the game at 13-13 with six minutes left.
The Houston offensive line finally held, however, allowing Matt Schaub to find his receivers and move the ball down the field. Facing a third-and-goal from the 12, Schaub hit tight end Owen Daniels for a score and a 20-13 lead with 1:11 left.

Jacksonville put a scare in the Texans when David Garrard found Mike Sims-Walker for a 23-yard pass, but rookie cornerback R.J. Fields quickly sealed the game with a 57-yard interception return for a score:

Fields had two sacks to go with his interception. On the next Jaguars drive, Houston cornerback Dunta Robinson picked off Garrard and also returned it for a score, allowing Houston to score 21 points in the final 70 seconds of the game.
Despite the heavy pass rush, Schaub finished 20-26 for 263 yards and two touchdowns. He threw no interceptions but fumbled twice, losing one. For the second straight game, Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels each finished with 100 yards. Johnson continues to be plagued by drops, however, as he had two in the game to give the normally sure-handed receiver seven on the season.
Houston "improves" to 3-7 and hosts a surprising CPU Bills team next week while Jacksonville marches to Dallas like the doomed passengers in The Poseidon Adventure.
