WR Brandon Trammell (R)

The guy is a Ted Ginn Jr. clone, with a 97 speed, 99 agility, 99 acceleration, and 97 jumping. However, being a Ted Ginn Jr. clone, his catching stats are in the high 70s, and I need a more solid possession receiver. Am looking for a WR, not in the Ted Ginn mold, to replace. If you need a speedster, he's your man.
I'd be interested in the WR. I'm drawing a blank on my WR stats, might be a little thin, but take a look at SF and let me know if anything interests you.
Sent you a PM.
Jared,
If you can't work anything out with him, I will trade you WR Roy Williams. He is rated 84 overall and has an 88 CTH (catching stat). I'm really looking to build my team around speed.

I got speed receivers coming out of my arse, so if that doesn't work out, check out Oakland's roster. Anybody but DHB is fair game lol

Any time tonight works fine, but if you want to shoot for a standard "10ET" time, I'm good with that.

With that being said--Power Rankings return!

Hell yeah! Gotta give your boys a morale boost.

However, unless it somehow increases their speed by 10 points across the board in the secondary, it won't help much.

For the record I haven't given up on the highlight show, it takes about 3-4 hours to put that together and I haven't had much time recently. I'll do my best to get back to it.

Here I was thinking Schaub did a pretty good job against the Raiders :D

I'd also like to thank the Marquis De Sade for designing the first half of my schedule. I feel like Kevin Bacon getting initiated at the beginning of Animal House.

De Sade is just so misunderstood.

I wish I could blame my schedule for my total collapse. Aside from Rob's Bears its been all cpu cupcakes.

Poor tackling and 5 turnovers from the Steelers led to Kansas City giving Pittsburgh their first loss of the season 31-14. The Steelers were unable to produce any offense as the Chiefs stuffed the run and Willie Parker was held to just 50 yards on 18 carries and Ben Roethlisberger finished 7 of 19 for 80 yards and 3 ints. The only bright spots for Pittsburgh were 2 third quarter kickoff returns for tds from Santonio Holmes. Larry Johnson led the way for the Chiefs and was the player of the game with 103 yards and 2 tds on 25 carries.

The Chiefs drove down the field on their opening drive but an interception by William Gay in the end zone ended their early threat:

Larry Johnson breaks through a large group of Steeler defenders and rambles 45 yards for a score:

Jamaal Charles scores on a 64 yard pass play with more poor tackling from the Steelers D:

Santonio Holmes scoring on the opening kickoff of the second half:

Santonio's 2nd kickoff return for a td in the third quarter:

Next week the Steelers will host the New Orleans Saints while the Chiefs travel to St. Louis to take on the Rams.

Weird things are afoot...XXXIV keeps getting "Online Franchise DLC Not Found" when trying to start a game, even though he's obviously in the OF and can even change his roster settings.

Not sure what's going on.

Rams played out of their minds, stripping two fumbles (one returned for a touchdown), picking off a pass, and closing to within 24-21 in the final minutes. Oakland barely pulls out the win on a go-ahead miracle run by McFadden (breaking huge tackles from the 5 to punch it in) for a 31-21 victory.

GREAT game, XXXIV.

Panthers Move to 3-3 after win against winless Bucs. The Panthers were able to sack Bucs QB Josh Freeman seven times and intercepted the QB five times in a 32-20 victory. Panthers lost starting HB DeAngelo Williams is out for the next 12 weeks with a broken wrist. Backup HB Steward stepped in for Williams and didn't miss a beat running for 117 yds on 19 attempts, while scoring one TD. WR Smith and TE Barnidge both caught 5 passes, Smith for 93 yards and the TE for 73 yards.

Panthers move on to face the winless Bengals in an effort to go over .500 for the first time this season.

The only true miracle was my defensive TD.

I played my very best game and per usual you had all the answers.

Highlights in the morning maybe :P

In the much anticipated titanic clash between the 5-0 Raiders and the 1-3 Rams, the hometown silver and black, the destroyers of all hope, prevail 31-21.
I could bore you with a sad coulda woulda shouda story of my life ramble but that might make me cry so without further ado here are the highlights...

Taking advantage of an early Raider turnover, The Rams take the 7-0 1st qtr lead as Jackson finally figures out that the endzone is that way on this 2yd run...

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

After a fg the Raiders take a 10-7 lead into the half as Morrow hits McFadden on this pretty little 11 yard TD pass.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

In what can only be described as the Heyward-Bey quarter we see Morrow hitting Bey on this 64 yard bomb. It was their second TD hook up of the quarter and appeared to put the Raiders comfortably ahead 24-7.
<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

The Rams too dumb to know any better and still thinking miracle on LCD cut the lead to 24-14 with about 10 minutes to play in the 4th quarter on this 11 yard strike from Bulger to Avery...

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

Less than thirty seconds after the Avery score, Ram rookie LB Carter scoops up a McFadden fumble and sprints 30 yards for the TD(replay unavailable) cutting the Raider lead to 24-21.

This I think is refered to as fool's gold as it was not to be for our lil lambs.
After an exchange of punts a pissed off Mcfadden puts the game away as he would not be denied on this 5 yard TD run putting the Raiders up 31-21 with 2 minutes to play.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

Once again Terry and as per usual great and fun to play game. Why I love this league and would love to see it go on and on...

Washington Redskins 56 - Seattle Seahawks 7

After a long layoff because of the bye, the Redskins got back over .500 with their first v. CPU game of the year resulting in a home blowout of the struggling Seahawks, 56-7. It was a costly victory, however, as WR Santana Moss was lost for 12 weeks due to a collar bone break suffered in the 2nd quarter.

DeAngelo Hall was the defensive standout for the Redskins, recording two interceptions of Matt Hasselbeck in the first quarter, one of three turnovers by Seattle in the opening stanza, including one which he returned 47yds for a TD.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>
DeAngelo Hall with his first interception of the game in the first quarter. Hasselbeck threw three INTs.

For the Redskins Offense, despite the team's struggles with the run game, it was a banner day on which they racked up a season-high 408 yds of total offense, went 8-10 on 3rd down, 5-5 for TDs in the red zone, and scored at least one TD in every quarter.

Jason Campbell wound up with 225 yds passing and threw three TDs and no interceptions. Antwaan Randle El had seven catches to go with three TDs from the slot position, including a 68yd TD reception in the 3rd quarter that made the score 42-7. In the 4th quarter, having lost Moss for the rest of the season, the Skins pulled the starters and gave 59 OVR rated Colt Brennan some time behind center. The 3rd year player from Hawai'i went 2 for 2 for 70yds and 1 TD with no INTs.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... Antwaan Randle El with one of his three TD catches in the game.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... Santana Moss shows why the Redskins will miss him the rest of the season, rescuing this 'hit as he throws!' wobbler from Jason Campbell. Moss broke his collarbone on a play later in the game.

And then as I was dealing with highlights, it told me 'You have lost your connection to the franchise servers. Scores and stats from this game will not be recorded.'

In the franchise lobby, it does seem that the game has counted. But you can imagine how my heart jumped when that message came across the screen. Not so much the loss of the victory as the time that it would take to replay the game, and when? The playoff games are about to start!

The 3-2 Redskins now host the Houston Texans while 1-5 Seattle continue their road trip in Arizona against the Cardinals before traveling to St Louis for their 2nd game against the Rams.

Titans fall asleep and the Giants hold serve at home. . .

Giants 34 Titans 31

In a game that was a story of two halves, the Titans blow a 31-17 halftime lead to lose a nail-biter to the New York Giants.

After an opening TD Drive, the Titans punted, but their Defense came back and grabbed the momentum by causing a very costly Brandon Jacobs turnover. . .

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

After a Giants FG. . .their lead was short lived and Chris Johnson (16 rushes, 175 yards, 2 TDs) found a hole on the outside and sprinted 52 Yards for the TD to make it 14-10. . .

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

At the end of the 2nd Quarter, the Giants tried to push down the field trailing 24-17, but Manning was picked off by Cortland Finnegan. . .

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

This led to an easy run into the end zone for Chris Johnson to score his second TD of the game. . .

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

Unfortunately, that was the end of the scoring and positive highlights for Tennessee.

In the second half, the Giants took the momentum from the Titans and refused to let go after Intercepting Donovan McNabb inside the 20. . .

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

On the next drive, another Red Zone INT by Justin Tuck would again stifle the Titans Offense after a long and meaningless drive. Ultimately, the Defense could not stop Manning the Younger as he led the Giants to the end zone and the winning TD run by Jacobs with less than a minute left. . .

Next Week: The Titans face off against division leading Indy next week and the Giants try to maintain their winning ways against the lowly CPU Eagles. . .

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GameSeven, great game, you really stuck in there and your Defense brought you back. . .take either of those INTs away and I think you probably run out of gas. . .that Tuck pick was killer. . .good luck with the rest of your season. . .plenty of time to get back into the thick of things. . .

Giants edge Titans late in East Rutherford, 34-31

In a game punctutated by big offensive plays and costly turnovers, the Giants would take the lead in the final minute of the game to win at home over Tennessee. Both teams would have a 160+ yard rusher and both would benefit from big plays in the final minute of the halves with the Titans reaching the end zone twice within the end of the first and the Giants defensive stop and winning score to close the second.

While the Giants would eventually trail at halftime, 31-17, Big Blue would open the scoring on their third play from scrimmage.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

The Giants would end up with one TD each quarter including this second quarter pass to TE Travis Beckum.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

However, the Giants defense was giving up yards in bunches as Chris Johnson would break off long scores while running for 175 yards on 16 carries on the day. This would prove costly for New York when Eli Manning would throw an interception within the final minute of the half, with Johnson turning a 7 point lead into a 14 point bulge.

Coming out of halftime, the Giants faced an uphill battle, but defensive adjustments and a better job of protecting the football by the offense would allow the Giants to climb back in the game. The Giants would climb within 4 points after the following third quarter TD run by Jacobs and a fourth quarter FG.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

Benefiting from one of two interceptions in the half, the Giants would drive into Tennessee territory before facing 4th and short just before the two-minute warning. Going against the intended screen play, Eli instead would target big TE Kevin Boss but he could not hold on to the ball after a Titan's defender closed the gap with unexpected quickness.

Having seen their team find ways to lose close games late often of late, Giants fans held out little hope that the that offense would get another opportunity to take the field. But helped by the warning and two timeouts, the Giants defense would step up and force the three and out, giving the Giants one last chance with a minute and a half to work with. Still down 4 and needing the TD, Eli Manning tried for the home run pass and after a crucial drop found his offense again facing fourth down with 10 yards to go for the first. As fate would have it, he would again target Boss and this time the big man would come through.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

With a new set of downs, the offense found what it needed after one more huge play on a Manning scramble that would set up a first and goal from the 1. Jacobs would punch in the final score to put the G-men up 3 with less than a minute to go and the defense would hold on the final Titans possession.

Thanks, Todd, for the great game. The stats sheet indicated a game that was pretty evenly played throughout, with the bulk of the breaks going your way in the first half and mine in the second. Good luck the rest of the way...
