Tiger Woods 2010

There was a report that the scandal has cost the shareholders of companies which sponsor him billions already. That came out about the same time AT&T dropped him.
EA right now has no reason to drop him. Scandal has died down and there's no other golfer who would help the sales nearly as much.
It could change, where his image deteriorates further.
But it could be odd when it comes out in the fall and he doesn't play any tournaments all year. Of course the betting is that he'll be back by mid-year.
Oh and if Elin is divorcing him, sure get the best child support deal and go for full custody.
But if she's trying to go way beyond the prenup, going for half his wealth as rumored, she comes across as greedy and vindictive.
Tiger has been the one taking the hits and she's gotten all the sympathy. That could change.

Greedy? Who's the dirty dog here? Why wouldn't Elin get all the sympathy while her jackass hubby is fooling around with 14 other mistresses and who knows how many more unaccounted for.wco81 wrote: But if she's trying to go way beyond the prenup, going for half his wealth as rumored, she comes across as greedy and vindictive.

Tiger is made for life financially wise. Elin has the right to get whatever she wants out of the divorce.
As for Woods, I wouldn't be surprised if he just shows up for the Majors this year.

The only way Elin Nordegren could come off as vindictive or greedy would be if she wiped out Tiger clean, forcing him to live at the Rescue Mission for the rest of his life.wco81 wrote:But if she's trying to go way beyond the prenup, going for half his wealth as rumored, she comes across as greedy and vindictive.
Tiger had at least 14 mistresses. He f*cked them while Elin was carrying both of his children.
How can she be anything but a sympathetic figure unless an observer is the largest cad in the Western Hemisphere, next to Eldrick Woods, that is?

She does deserve sympathy. But being cheated on is not a license to be a gold digger.10spro wrote: Greedy? Who's the dirty dog here? Why wouldn't Elin get all the sympathy while her jackass hubby is fooling around with 14 other mistresses and who knows how many more unaccounted for.

She's not entitled to any of the wealth he accumulated before they married.
And it's not clear what grounds she has to void the prenup she signed.
Not like she's going to be poor if she only gets the payout in the prenup as well as child support.
She's a digger if she wants all of Tiger's gold, which I doubt. I think she's entitled to ask for half of his riches though.wco81 wrote:She does deserve sympathy. Again, I don't think she'll ask for the moon.wco81 wrote:She's not entitled to any of the wealth he accumulated before they married.
Being fooled around not once, not twice, but 14 times behind your back is not enough of a motive? Even Tiger was willing to up the $$$ in the prenup if she was willing to stay longer for a chance of any reconciliation.wco81 wrote:And it's not clear what grounds she has to void the prenup she signed.
Besides money being involved here, there's a tremendous psychological factor going on here for her and her kids. Loading up on her future now, it's the least of her priorities now, I assume.wco81 wrote:Not like she's going to be poor if she only gets the payout in the prenup as well as child support.

Just went to install the demo and was prompted to load the Unity Web Player. What the hell is that? Safe plug-in that's not a memory hog, I presume?Wilk5280 wrote:Anyone know when Tiger Woods online launches? I just played the demo and it's improved 10 fold since the last time I played it during the 2nd beta. Game seems crazy good.

I did the same, Boom, and IE still asked me to install that plug-in. Hmm.Wilk5280 wrote:PK,
I couldn't get it to work in FF so I loaded it up in IE and it worked fine. No pluggin required to install.

Yes, it is the program (the only one you install to play TW Online) that allows the game to be streamed through your browser. Firefox is the best browser to use for the game currently. Unity 3D is some pretty neat technology...pk500 wrote:Just went to install the demo and was prompted to load the Unity Web Player. What the hell is that? Agreed. Even better news is EA has now openly announced they will be including a course architect for the game sometime after launch.....HUGE news for a game that will need new courses to keep the gameplay fresh and the interest up.....dbdynsty25 wrote:The open beta is light years ahead of the original closed beta (obviously, it should be). Can run it at full detail at 1920x1200 without a problem at all. It's a pretty damn sweet looking game too.
And despite his transgressions, Tiger will still be EA's cover boy for 2011.

So I tried this on my new laptop yesterday, and it runs really great. Seems like the game is quite solid, though I'm still groping my way through the different on-course features. Initial load time took a while, but things ran butter smooth in game and the round moves along at a nice pace.
Is there any way to adjust true-swing difficulty (ie, make it harder to get a 'perfect' rated shot)? I didn't notice that option yesterday.

Yeah that's a damn good question because I read something eluding to that TW Online might be free but you'd have to pay for TW DLC.dbdynsty25 wrote:But what does that mean? Does that mean everyone has to start paying, or is it free, or what? I'm in the beta and I'm confused as to what "released" means to them. Any info?DivotMaker wrote:TW Online will be released Tuesday, April 6.
