This video shows how ridiculous the 1887s are, but at the same time, I loved listening to this guy's narration. It's like listening to Balki Bartokomous play MW2 :D

That video made my blood boil....then I turned on my speakers and couldn't help but laugh. The 1887s are an f'ing farce....

My favorite kind of player; dual 1887's, lightweight perk, openly trying to spawn camp, spamming grenades, and making absolutely no attempt to capture or defend control points while playing domination. That is rare form.

At least the commentary is tremendous.

Oh, for real - the guy runs right past un-guarded control points. f***in Perfect Strangers....

Apparently the javelin glitch fix (and the unlimited care package glitch fix) is live.

I guess we'll have to wait for update number 2 for actual gameplay tweaking (cough*dual-1887s*cough).

Don't hold your breath, they never nerf weapons in the CoD games anymore.
The MP40 remains overpowered in WaW,for example and shotguns are also overpowered in CoD 4.

Those twin shotty guys are more annoying than anything else.Rarely do I see them being difference makers in matches;no more so than the "Jack the Ripper" dudes rolling with Marathon/Lightweight/Commando and the tactical knife.

Maybe I was in the minority, but I never noticed any problems with the shotguns in COD4, and I thought all the M16 whiners were ridiculous.

The 1887s is the first time anything in MW1 or 2 needed rebalancing IMO.

And so it begins anew.

Working with the @infinityward team for a solution to the Public "Private Match" hack going on in #MW2 at the moment. I'll keep you posted.
For those that don't know, there's a bug where you can make a private match with custom settings into a room where public players are thrown in and everyone still earns XP.

I tried to play domination or ground war several times today and kept put into never-ending domination or free-for-all games with no killcam, usually on rust. Once it put me in 3rd person game. Ridiculous.

I saw it last night, but the actual match was so laggy/glitchy everyone just bailed on it. It also still said "Private Match", so it's pretty easy to tell when it's happening.

Infinite ammo glitch now. You can spam everything from throwing knives to air support attacks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAuohk1VAew

Best part? Apparently the glitch is *contagious*, so you can 'catch it' and spread it to others.

At least this bug is confined to the private match glitch, so once that's patched up it will take care of this glitch.

And my merc team deathmatch rooms are safe.

Yeah, I pretty much do nothing but MTD and Ground War. The latter can be frustrating, though, when no-one's trying to cap the domination points.

I hit 30 last night after twelve hours of play. How long does it take to get to 70, anyway? I'm not even halfway there and I imagine the rank-ups get progressively slower as you increase. Yeargh.

Loving Merc Team Deathmatch still. Jump in, jump out, no voice, very nice. Switching between a RPD loadout with thermal vision that lets me get a little snipey but still hold my own mid-range, and a recently slapped together stealth build which is something I never did in MW1. My deaths go up, but there's something thrilling about stalking a clueless group and knifing them in the back.

One thing though... I've been getting headaches/neckaches from this game like nobody's business. I do this horrible thing where I jut my neck out when I'm playing, like I'm trying to get closer to the game as if it'll help my peripheral vision or something. A bad habit that I'm having trouble breaking.

I finished the single player last night, if there has been a more disconnected, helter skelter..almost feeling tacked on plot to a single player game I'm not sure what it was.

I couldn't feel any kind of emotional reaction to people dying because I had no idea who was who. From a single player story stand point this is a lot worse the MW1 and that was no War & Peace.

I know, I know it's a MP game.

"No Russian" was really the only one that had an emotional impact. It seemed like a collection of set pieces from different movies thrown together into one package, didn't it?

I mean, it's still fun and moody as all get out, but yeah...disjointed.

Exactly it was fun but I had no idea what the outcome was. Some missions were so crazy I couldn't figure out what was up. The Russian sub, is that the one you mean. I had no idea what I was suppose to be doing in the end, when that missile went up I thought it was a good thing, then it's headed towards the East Coast, then it is a good thing cause it blew up in the sky?

Again totally not sure what happened. The end credits with the fake museum stuff, WTF was that?

I don't need a fantastic plot with a shooter, but I do need one that someone not on LSD could follow. :)

Nah, No Russian was the airport terrorism thing.

And as for the credits? Go back and choose 'credits' as a level. Lets just say it evokes memories of 'Night at the Museum'...only with guns...

And the missile was supposed to blow up in the air-as an EMP. That's why Washington was blacked out in the next area.

I'm thinking of picking up MW1, because I've got a suspicion that the story might make more sense as a total package. I believe that they literally picked up right after the first one ended, and I honestly don't remember all the plot points of the first one.

When you say 3 days, do you mean 72 hours, or just three solid nights of play?
