I've also looked and seen someone post that the tiebreaker is alphabetical order of team name, but I have no idea if that's the case.
If it's points scored, then BAL has 31 more than JAX. If it's point differential, then JAX has a big advantage (+60) over BAL (+11)
In the NFC, for reference, at the end of week 16 (team, points scored, point differential):
MIN 402 +121
DAL 344 +36
PHL 362 +100
WAS 365 +94
If Minnesota loses, it looks like they're still in good shape for the wild card (unless there are three teams tied for the two wild cards, and the tiebreaker is alphabetical order, ugh). And suddenly, Dallas goes from being in great shape (under normal tiebreakers) to in a must-win situation (if points scored or point differential is the tiebreaker). Wow.

Early Tuesday Morning Football
The Titans close out the Regular Season with a 28-14 win over the Seahawks. . .
The game started real slow as the Seahawks Defense temporarily shutdown the Titans rungame. . .
The Titans did come up with a 2nd Quarter 2-Yard TD run by Chris Johnson (12 runs 90 Yards, 2 TD) and led 7-0 until midway in the third quarter when the Seahawks grabbed a controversial Vince Young Fumble along the sidelines and turned that into a Julius Jones 2-Yard TD Run to tie things at 7-7. . .
This would only infuriate the Titans as they ran off three straight scores. . .and then emptied the bench for most of the 4th Quarter (Patrick Ramsey and Javon Ringer come on down). . .
The Seahawks get a hot potato TD that should have been intercepted, twice to inch a bit closer. . .but with 1:53 left, the Titans wrapped up the game and the season with their 12th win of the year. . .
Now they travel back to Tennessee to see where the potentially whacky playoff seedings will either give them a bye or a home game to kickoff the playoffs next week. . .

whoa...just noticed I played my week 17 game when I thought I was playing my week 16 game Sunday night. Logged on Sunday night at 9pm central to play wk16....ha...good thing I won the sim I guess.
Anyway...Falcons close out regular season with a pretty uneventful 24-13 win over the Bucs and finish 11-5 with a sim loss thrown in there (that still irks me). GL to everyone in the playoffs.

Redskins 35 - Chargers 13
Santana Moss caught three first half touchdown passes to pace the visiting Redskins to their 11th win of the season against the struggling Chargers in San Diego. The speedy wideout ended the day with 136 yds from 5 catches, including 1st half TD strikes of 44yds and 64yds. Cooley started the scoring with a 1yd TD catch off of play action on first and goal on the first drive of the game.
Philip Rivers had a terrible day, seemingly rusty, as he threw 3 interception and completed only 14 of 30 throws while facing heavy pressure and being sacked twice. Ladanlian Tomlinson was also held in check with 15yds running on 4 carries, including a long run of 12 yds.
The game was out of reach early as turnovers led to 14 Redskin points in the first half. With the half time score 28-3, the second half was all but a formality. Portis added a 4th quarter TD on 15yd screen play, and Tomlinson broke free on an 80yd TD catch and run late.
The Skins now await the result of the Cowboys -Eagles game and the possible tie break scenarios to learn their post season fate.
Good game, Mac, and thanks for playing me. It was nice to chat, as always, and maybe now you have a better idea of your off season needs. Sounds like with your new schedule, you'll be good to play next season
I'll post a few highlights pater tonight when I get home.

When I advance tomorrow night I would like any playoff teams to hold off on playing games until Friday night the earliest. I need to advance to see whom has made it in.
I also will post a message on Thursday about some rule changes etc for the league and then ask for a head count of who is coming back. I already know at least one person is leaving, there are a few others I am not sure of.
Also i need some opinions before then. Please just say yes or no, I don't need alternate ideas.
Right now we have an aggressive schedule which I like, but I want to know if you guys want to slow it down a tad. Now we play 2 games a week, which means in 2 weeks (14days) we play 4 games.
What I would propose to slow it down a little is make the sim period every 5 days. This, as I am sure you can figure out is 3 games every 15days. The issues with this is the sim date is a moving target, it's going to take longer to get through a season.
For any who ask why I am considering this, several people have commented on the schedule in light of upcoming games coming out.
Thoughts?

Yes to slowing down.
I have an off topic question. My brother plays a lot and has shown an interest to playing in an OF. I have already told him about the league etc....and briefed him where to go to register for DSP. Would this be something the league is open to, adding someone new?
Wayne23, tonight at 9EST or so? I sent you another PM and just saw your locked/deleted topic

Once a week won't work, trust me. At that rate it will take 4 months to play the regular season. 5 days between sims cuts off a month from that.
If everyone checks this thread there should be no confusion, frankly I am all for people being more involved in this thread.

Ok guys I have enough input from here and the load of PM's I got, feel free to still comment but I get the general idea by now, I am hoping a longer sim period will allow owners like Mac to come back in. I am a little worried i think part of the great success of this league and getting games played was due to the pace and the owners. If you don't think having this many human games being completed is great work by all invovled you haven't played in a lot of online leagues.
Be on the lookout for a message tomorrow or Thursday about the rules and some deadlines on off season items that some of us can work on now.
I also have to sadly announce 2 owners have already said after the season is done they are out. I appreciate people sending those messages privately to me about leaving.
So Hogz and grtwhtshark are going to be leaving us after the season, both of which may be in the playoffs this year. I appreciate no one is leaving because of the way the league has been run, but just do to real world time constraints both owners are welcome back if they ever choose.

After the first attempt to play ended up with a DQ in the first quarter with the Browns up 10-0 quick (Cribbs returned opening kick 101yds) The Browns manage to pull out a win in a nail biter 21-16.
The name of this game was possession as the Browns had the ball for nearly 22 minutes. No replays as everyone of them was cut short
Quinn was 9/14 for 104yds 1TD and 1 INT He also ran one in from 5 yds.
Lewis carried the ball 16 times for 73 yds
Steve Heiden in his first game back since a broken collarbone was the leading receiver with 3 catches for 36yds and a TD
Not sure who I helped for the playoffs or if I just helped myself but I knew I couldn't afford a loss!!

On a rainy afternoon in Texas, the Dallas Cowboys rode the steady back of a rookie QB to a 14-7 victory over division rival Eagles. Tired of watching the errant throws from veteran backup QB Jon Kitna, Cowboys head coach BHoward, turned to his green 3rd string rookie QB Steve McGee for his first action of the season. McGee looked like a seasoned vet in the most important game for the Boys this season, going 11 for 15 for 119 yards. Not overly impressive stats, but the rookie made completions when he needed, converting 5 3rd downs and 1 4th down.
McGee was supported by a running attack of Barber and Jones. Barber amassed 74 yards on 19 attempts with one touchdown, while Jones scored the other TD on a 10yard gallop with 1:00 left in the game to give the Boys the lead. The Cowboys also picked up 68 yds on 6 catches from TE Witten and 5 catches for 45 yards from WR Roy Williams.
The defense of the Cowboys was also clutch. While the D did allow a 57 yrd TD strike from McNabb to TE Celek, the Boys D picked up 2 interceptions from McNabb. The first by MLB Brady James to halt a Philly drive that looked headed for a score. The second INT was made by Safety Gerald Sensabaugh to clinch the victory for the Boys with :50 left in the game. The Boys were also able to sack McNabb twice, once by DE Marcus Spears and once by backup DT Siavii.
With the uncertainty of league tiebreaker rules, the Boys took the decision out of the hands of the corporate hierarchy of the DSFL. With the win, the Cowboys clinch a first round bye, and more importantly, time for the injured starting QB Tony Romo to heal from his regular season ending injury.
Good game Eman. You had me nervous for most of the game. The rain messed up everything in that game. Good luck in making the playoffs. The way EA setup the way the OF works there's no telling what will happen.

Dolphins 35 Steelers 7
After losing Ronnie Brown to injury, the Dolphins decided to sign RB Warrick Dunn for the sole purpose of playing in the final game of the season, absorbing hits that would have otherwise been taken by the always fragile Ricky Williams. Dunn had two fumbles in the first half, but recovered with 6 carries for 29 yards, and 6 receptions for 62 yards. But as fate would have it, he was injured in the second half and went out with a broken collarbone and is now out for ten weeks. The HB position for the Dolphins is now officially cursed.
As for the game, Patrick Cobbs auditioned for more playing time and may have earned it with 11 carries for 76 yards and three touchdowns. Chad Henne went 18/22 for 233 yards, one TD and one INT. Roethlisberger was 6-17 with 71 yards passing, and Willie Parker had 6 carries for 35 yards. Pittsburgh ends the season at 3-13, likely getting the third pick in the draft. The Dolphins end the season at 15-1 and will host a divisional playoff game, likely without Ronnie Brown, in two weeks.

Pittsburgh falls to Miami 35-7. In a game that saw the Dolphins resting key players the Steelers were able to move the ball down the field on their opening drive and would score on a 2 yard run by Rashard Mendenhall and would lead 7-0 at the end of the first quarter.
From the second quarter on it was all Miami as the Steelers defense was unable to stop the Dolphins and they would score 35 unanswered points. Chad Henne finished 18 of 22 for 233 yards, 1 td and 1 int. Patrick Cobbs was the player of the game with 4 touchdowns. Miami did lose newly signed running back Warrick Dunn for the season with a broken collarbone.
Pittsburgh is happy to see a disappointing season come to an end and will be looking forward to redeeming themselves next season after offseason moves and the NFL draft.
