I've had it for over a week because of my preoder. Pretty damn cool. Graphics are very very nice. I can't wait for the final version. Definitely my favorite non sports title this gen.
Anyone have any clue how to get the demo 'activated'? I thought it was open to everyone now...
I get a error telling me to go to account management and activate the system or something when I try to start it after downloading and installing last night.

I had it pre-ordered and the code didn't work for me even for the beta version. I think Naughty Dog is having some serious server issues, my guess is to keep on trying until you can log on.
I was not involved in the Beta in any way, and I was able to download it and start playing immediately last night. Was reminded that I suck balls at shooters and turned it off after an hour... Seems pretty good though.
Finally managed to play on deathmatch. It's obvious that the beta guys have a light advantage knowing the maps etc, I was just more stunned at how beautiful the temple was while getting bombed at, and how smoothly the game run online.
What's the deal with headshots in multiplayer? I nailed a guy in the head from point blank range and he just stood there and took it. In the end it took 3 shots in the bloody head to kill him.

wtf?
Agree with James, game looks gorgeous.
Not just the head Macca, but it seems to take almost a full clip to kill someone too. Still a lot of fun online, look really forward to the full game next week.
BTW I got this game on Thursday (good ol' Chinatown!), and OH MY FRAKKING GOODNESS! WOW!
Wasn't really loving the first couple of levels, but man this thing is starting to take off now! I only hope its a bit longer than the last one because if it could, I would want it to last forever. I can't have put more than three or four hours into it between Thursday and now, if that, and I'm on chapter 5 or 6 already.
I really want to try some MP and especially co-op with the game. Tuesday night maybe? I don't have Op. Flashpoint, so that's out for me.
I'd need to get a bluetooth headset though, for the online.
Sometimes Gamefly is the sh*t. Game shipped today so I'll have the thing ON release day. Gotta love it. Then if I just go and "keep it" from them, I'll save myself 15 bucks off retail. Then of course there is the counter to that when I had Operation Flashpoint in the queue and it still hasn't shipped even though it was first on my list and it was there for a week before it came out. Oh well.

Well, if your sh*t don't stink...Gamefly didn't ship me a copy despite having it at the top of my list. I only recently re-started my Gamefly subscription, but it looks like I'll be canceling again soon. I have Uncharted, Flashpoint, Batman AA, and NBA Live in my queue, and NONE have shipped. What's the point of having this thing if I can't get a decent game while it's still relevant to the community?
Enjoy, lucky bastard

To be fair, mine did come today...on the release day. Sorry man, that's crappy.
I played about an hour and a half into the single player and its been superb so far. The production values are incredible and the story is so well done. It has not disappointed.
The voices are done very well, the theatrical soundtrack and unmatched visuals are something to be experienced. The story scenes transition is well done also, and judged by the leaping from ledge to ledge of the first hour, this is going to be a rollercoaster of a story and I'll find it very difficult to press the eject button if at all to play another PS3 disc.
Now putting the kids to bed is not the problem, but the story time preceding it is what kills me.
