Judging by the rumors I've heard, and your records in other leagues, I'm not looking forward to any West Coast road trips anytime soon.

If I could find another league as cool as this one I wouldnt mind joining. My only issue with this DSP Official is that I could probably play a game every night. Sometimes I play and feel rusty as the only time I play is during league games.

Believe those rumors to be true.

I have played those lowly Raiders in exhibition and lets just say they are a different team with TC at the controls.

Not definite about whether I'll be on tonight or not. If so, that time range looks good. Otherwise, will most likely be available tomorrow.

The Falcons got a much needed win on the road against GameSeven's Giants. Final Score 28-9.

Sorry didn't have time to grab any highlights. Only 1 of the Falcon's 4 TD's were scored by the offense. The others came from a Norwood 81 yard punt return and 2 pick 6's by the defense. The Gian't dominated the time of possession 20 to 11 and therefore total yards as well. The Falcon's defense allowed the Giants to move the ball in between the 20's but stiffened up inside the 30 allowing only one TD. This game was all about turnovers as Eli threw 4 picks..I think 3 of the 4 were inside the Falcon's 30 yard line.

Good game Seven...I thought I was going to let you back in it there in the second half with my fumble and int.

Good luck

The Giants are hands down the toughest team to understand in this league. Some games they look like world beaters. Others...not.

They kicked my ass, though

Tell me about it

Yesterday's game was particularly frustrating as it seems *every* mistake went the other way for 6. While I only feel like I forced a pair of the INTs (the others were a final play of the half deep ball in single coverage and a red-zone pick intended for Jacobs in the shadow of the D-Line at the end of the game that would seal the result), 2 Picks were returned for 70+ or so TDs and a punt would be taken the distance as well when I missed with my first man and Jerious Norwood seemed to shed tacklers like you couldn't imagine.

Then again, those same turnovers are what allowed me to beat you, so it goes both ways... very frustrating result though when you stare down a blowout score but feel like the contest was much closer.

Oh well... will try to right the ship next game.

My bad bro I'm at working typing this on my myTouch between work calls. Central time. Also not sure if you all know, I'm headset free. Old one is broken and never had reason to get a new one. I'll get a new one eventually, not sure when.

Ugh...you'd think THIS would be a reason to get one. Headset-less games kill me. I'll be there at 7PT/9CT.

Dallas, TX--

These aren't your average Raiders. They did everything they could to implode early on the road in Dallas on Sunday. Yet these Raiders found resilience and managed to put together one of the most clutch drives in their history to seal the 17-6 win.

It started ugly for the Silver & Black. Dallas marched their opening possession 14 plays and 77 yards, consuming the entire opening quarter (7:54 of it) before the Raider defense stiffened and forced a chipshot FG.

Dallas led 3-0, and it took the Raiders exactly three plays for JaMarcus to throw his first interception.

Dallas had the chance to capitalize from their own 42 but couldn't, going 3-and-out and punting back to the Raiders.

4 plays later, it was Russell's 2nd interception.

From the Oakland 39, Dallas managed -1 yards on 3 plays, punting again. The Raider defense was swarming the Dallas offense at this point.

Dallas punted and the touchback fueled Oakland's first scoring drive, a 57-yard FG by Janikowski that was apparently kicked from a cannon. It barely cleared the crossbar, but it was kicked from almost midfield.

With the game tied at 3 each, and less than 2 minutes in the half, Dallas returned the ensuing kickoff to the 30. On the first play from scrimmage following that return, Thomas Howard intercepted Tony Romo in Cowboys territory, returning it to the 26 yard line to give the Raiders new energy.

It took the Raiders just 4 plays to cover the 26 yards, culminating in a 10 yard TD strike by Jeff Garcia (who replaced Russell after his 2nd interception) with :13 left.

At halftime, Oakland led 10-3.

Oakland punted on their first possession of the 2nd half, and Dallas had a 10-play drive to make the score 10-6 with 1:49 left in the 3rd quarter, and the pressure was entirely on the Raiders' shoulders.

They responded.

Oakland's commitment to the running game was completely absent in the game with Dallas, despite putting up 200 yards against lesser opponents in 3 straight games. After the lead was cut to just 4 points, the offensive linemen for the Raiders came together, banging heads and slapping high fives.

The result was an incredible 13 play, 80 yard, 6 minute drive that consisted of 12 runs, the last of which was a bruising 8 yard TD run on 3rd and goal by Justin Fargas

Oakland took control of the game at 17-6 and on Dallas' last gasp, Thomas Howard intercepted his 2nd pass of the game to ice the win for Oakland.

Oakland moves to 7-4 on the year and next plays at the 3-7 Pittsburgh Steelers, while Dallas drops to 8-3 travels to the 6-4 Giants.

EA sites are down, so no highlights :( [Edit: Highlights added]

It was high drama at the Hubert H. Humphrey Memorial Rollerdome as the NFC North leaders squared off in their first meeting of the season. The Bears were incredibly fortunate to catch the Vikes at a time where both Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson were out injured.

The Bears offense started the game clicking on all cylinders. Their first drive was a 4-minute beauty with Jay Culter going 4 for 5 and ending with a Matt Forte 2-yd TD plunge. The Vikes went 3 and out and the Bears were righ back on the march, moving 70 yards in short order only to see it all fall apart as Matt Forte fumbled into the waiting hands of Tyrell Johnson, who ran 72-yds untouched for a heart-wrenching TD.

The Bears offense went right back to work with Cutler finding FA signee Joe Walsh for a 16-yd strike to open the second quarter.

The Bears stretched their lead to 21-7 when Brian Urlacher picked off a Tavaris Jackson pass and flew 86yds for a TD. In order to do so the New Mexico product managed to improbably outrun both Jackson and Florida speed demon Percy Harvin!

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

Ryan Longwell cut the Bears lead to 11 with a FG at the end of the first half.

The Bears came out firing again in the second half, with their first drive featuring a punishing rushing attack that was capped with Matt Forte's second TD of the game. At that point the visitors were comfortably ahead 28-10.

The Vikings found their stride however, and with the home crowd getting behind them reeled off 21 unanswered points. First Jackson found a wide open Sidney Rice with a long 63-yd bomb (2pt conversion was unsuccessful). After a fortuitous play where Jackson fumbled but the first Bear to touch it was out of bounds, Jackson got his bearings and hit Harvin with a 16-yd bullet to cut the lead to 28-23.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

The Bears looked set to run the clock out on the hosts, but an injury to Matt Forte forced Kevin Jones into action. On a 3rd and short that may have seen the Bears use up most, if not all, of the remaining time, Jared Allen crushed the backup RB and forced a fumble.

<embed src="http://cdn.www.easports.com/static/110. ... player.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="height=360&width=640&file=http://cdn.content.easports.com/media2/ ... ="></embed>

The subsequent Vikes drive ended with a Chester Taylor TD and successful 2pt conversion to give the Vikes their first lead of the day at 31-28.

The Bears faced this 3pt deficit with just 54 seconds let to play. Cutler led an unlikely drive down the field, with the critical play a 32-yd conversion of a 3rd and 10 where the Vikes DB deflected the ball into the arms of WR Joe Walsh. Cutler capitalized on the good fortune and hit Desmond Clark with the game winning TD pass with 7 seconds to go.

Fabulous game, Badger! We each had some breaks in the game (that Walsh play was ridiculous), but the real deciding factor was the bad luck you had coming into the game with your big guns sidelined. Great comeback and I look forward to the rematch in a few weeks.

It was a great game. Good work last night Rob. The Johnson and Urlacher TDs canceled each other out. As I said last night, I should have tried to kill a little clock when I had first and goal from the 1 with a minute left. I scored on the first play and clearly gave you too much time. The Walsh play was a killer. That would have set up 4th and 10, not to mention that it covered 32 very important yards. That said, great game Rob and I'm looking forward to the rematch as well. Next time I should have All Day ready to go.

And can I just say that if this were the real world, Berman and TJ would open NFL Countdown wondering what the Vikings have to do to win a close game. I'm now 7-4 (one of the losses in a simmed game that I just wasn't able to get in). The other three losses are by a total of 10 points:

-Baltimore scored with 1:39 left and won by 4
-Pittsburgh won in overtime with a kick after a terrible interception by Favre
-Chicago won by 3 with touchdown scored with 8 seconds left

Three crushing defeats. Time to regroup.
The sing-along songs'll be our scriptures.

The Dolphins avenged their CPU loss last week, defeating the Buffalo Bills 38-3 in Buffalo. The EA site is down, but I can tell you that the Dolphins had three times the yards as Buffalo, Miami QBs (Pennington and Henne) went 25-28 with almost 300 yards passing, and Ted Ginn had 10 receptions for 100+ yards and a touchdown.

Badgun, does Sunday night work for you for our Colts-Texans game? I could probably do Saturday or Sunday afternoon, too, if that's more convenient.
