Newegg guys...32gb will be shipped same day.

I don't use a case. Aluminum body and glass screen. Gonna be touch to scratch it up. I have it in my pocket or on my desk, so not worried about it anyway.

Good call on the Zune HD. I love it...At least so far. We all know how MS and hardware go together...Crossing fingers. Anyway the thing is beautiful and sounds great...Havent figured out HD radio yet though.

dbdynsty25 wrote:Yeah, I probably won't use it, but 15 bucks a month for 10 songs to keep and unlimited rentals, it's an outstanding value for someone that loves music and doesn't want to really pay for it.
I think since they added the you keep 10 part its a great deal( at least for those who pay for music  :P )...I easily spend at least $15-30 a mo on music...Ive been buying at least 10 songs a month, with an occasional cd thrown in, for a long time. Throw in the fact that I can listen to new music anytime I want for as long as I want and it was a pretty easy sale.

Even after I said that, I went and signed up for the Trial of Zune Pass. It's legit, and it's awesome. I'm sure I'll continue to pay for the service even if I still get my music from alternate sources. This at least is a legal way to try everything out!

Glad you're happy with the Zune 34...it's badass.

I can't figure out the HD radio either, I saw in a video review the HD1, 2 and 3 channels came up rather fast on the screen, the hdradio site lists 30 stations available in the Pittsburgh area but I haven't been able to pick up any at all. Other than that it is a very nice player.

I've got an extra Zagg Invisiblehield screen protector for the Zune HD if anyone wants it. Here's a link to the product:

https://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/mi ... hields.php

It's just the screen protector, not the full body one. 5 bucks, shipped. Just to cover my shipping cost (priority mail of course). Anyone interested? I've got one on my player and it does a great job protecting the screen and it minimized fingerprints significantly. I recommend these things even if you don't get it from me. Trying to save someone 15 bucks.

Downloaded the new firmware upgrade for the Zune along with a few of the new games. PGR is now available and the Audiosurf Tilt app is pretty cool.

I have struck gold, danke db. I didn't know if they'd would have some sort of copyright detector or something in these things.

I picked up a 32gb Zune HD. Awesome little thing, especially with the Zune Pass. It's been great to pass time at work, but I've also got it set up at home to give me the best possible sound I can. I've got an older set of Sennheiser HD580 headphones that I've paired up with a Qinpu A-3 vacuum tube headphone amp. MP3 files never sounded so good, particularly the Neko Case I'm listening to right now.

My only complaint with the Zune is my work computer is not compatible with the Zune software - WinXP Professional 64-bit version. Forces me to download everything at home and not be as random in music selection as I'd like.

my wife said my early Christmas present will be here on Monday. What format do the video files need to be in? Thinking about putting some kid stuff on so my kid can watch it on the flight to Memphis next week.

I found one annoyance with the Zune, and as far as I can tell there's no way around it. I've been a mad man downloading complete albums from Zune and have 1500+ songs on it currently. I made a playlist with all the songs so I could go through every song at see if I like them and rate them. It appears that as soon as you turn off the Zune the playlist resets back to the beginning. I'll be damned if I cycle through hundreds of songs to get to the last one played. Is there any way to resume a playlist from where you left off?

I dont know a way around the playlist reset but I know what you are trying to do. I kinda wrote down every song I downloaded with Pass. I wrote the album name if it was more than a couple of songs.

Kinda nuts. 8) ...Anyway...Ive been having a monthly draft where I pick the 10 keeper songs off of that list...

As for the video files. I have 3 South Park episodes on it and they are WMVs. Dont know if that helps.

I cant figure out how to get My didgital copy of Dark Knight to play on it. Is that possible? Seems as though it should be.

Well, funny thing happened.

I bought an Touch 32gb a couple of weeks ago (lost the one I had) and it died 2 days ago.

Took it back to Costco but they didn't have the 32gb available.

Went to Walmart and they didn't have it either. They DID have the Zune HD.

Are you guys still enjoying this puppy?

For those of you who have had both the Touch and the Zune HD, which one would you recommend?

I did d/l the Zune software and I liked it ALOT more than Itunes. Specially since all the podcasts I d/l are available in the Zune Marketplace.

Use it everyday....Love it! ...Especially in combo with the Zune marketplace. Its very well done and easy to use.

I just paid for another 3 mos of the zune pass. For me its been great for discovering new music or rediscovering older stuff Ive never really listend to before.

Even started using it to rent/buy movies ( bought Anvil off of it)and South Park episodes.

10 outta 10. :P

Yes, if playing games isn't your first priority on an Mp3 player...the Zune destroys the iPod as far as sound quality, top notch interface, and the far superior Zune software and ZunePass (which Apple doesn't even have). It's a fantastic device...still.

Yeah the app/games list on the Zune Market is pitiful.

I have 2 questions about the Zune:

How's the internet browsing compared to the Touch?

Can you access the Marketplace and download songs/apps/podcast, directly on the Zune HD (if connected to the Internet of course) like you can on the Ipod Touch?
