A boxing clinic by Chris John. This is nowhere near as competitive as their first fight. John is one slick mofo.

Take care,
PK

No sh*t! Ironic that Joe Cortez, one of the most meddlesome refs, let John hang on to Rocky in the last 20 seconds.

Take care,

No way that was a 114-113 fight. I think 117-111 is about right.

Bring on the main event!

It's back to 83 for me as well. I'm the address you gave me. I had to stop then start the fight.

Anyone remember the fighter in the 90's from England who went by the name The Prince who had the most outrageous entrances in boxing? :)

Prince Naseem.

These damn commercials are pissing me off on the sport.ro feed!

Marquez may not win a round. Floyd's speed, defense and reach are just WAY too much.

There is NO way Manny can beat Floyd. None. Zero.

Manny beat a drained, old Oscar at 147 and Hatton -- who has zero defense and no head movement -- at 140. Those are his only fights over 135.

Plus Manny arguably lost both of his fights to Marquez, even though the fights were scored as a draw and a win for Manny. And PBF is DESTROYING Marquez.

Take tonight's fight, replace Marquez with Manny, and that's what you'll see next year. Manny is faster than Marquez, but he's never fought someone with the size and speed of Floyd. He'll get destroyed.

There's only one welterweight in the world who can beat Mayweather -- Paul Williams. He's 6-1 and has a longer reach than heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko. Seriously. He's also fast as hell.

But no welterweight will touch him, including Mayweather. So Williams has moved up to junior middleweight and middleweight.

Take care,
PK

Credit to JMM for hanging in as long as he did. And of course to Floyd, started slow as predicted but he just controlled the fight from the get go. Mayweather pot-shotting with jabs and rights was quite impressive, with his quickness, the dude is nearly impossible to hit cleanly. Marquez' patience started to run thin around the 6th round and it was a walk in the park since then for FM.

Total destruction. PBF put on a clinic. I think it would be similar if he fights Manny. I really want to see him fight Sugar Shane.

Too bad Sugar Ray Leonard is long gone. I would have loved to see the two of them mixing it up.

I agree. That would be a better fight than PBF-Manny. And I think PBF would be unafraid to step in with Mosley. He'd never step in with Williams. Ever.

Wiki: "Paul Williams (born July 27, 1981, in Aiken, South Carolina) is an American boxer and is the reigning two-time WBO welterweight champion. At 6'2, Paul is considered extremely tall for a welterweight. He is also considered by many to be the most "avoided fighter in the world".

Williams is a supa-freak. A 6-2 welterweight with great speed and a longer reach than heavyweight champ Klitschko. No 147-pounder will touch him.

He will fight Pacquiao next year in a MEGA-money fight if Manny beats Cotto in November. That's not a lock for Manny, as Cotto is a tough customer and is bigger than Manny.

But Cotto hasn't been the same since Margarito pummeled him with loaded gloves. Yes, Margarito was cheating like hell, but Cotto hasn't recovered from that beating.

If Cotto beats Manny, then we'll probably see a Cotto-PBF fight next year. But I'd rather see PBF-Williams or PBF-Mosley before that fight.

Funny to see Sugar Shane pull a Kanye during the post-fight interview between PBF and HBO's Max Kellerman, calling out Mayweather for a fight.

Take care,
PK

That left hook of Floyd's that starts as a left jab is NASTY. That's a lethal punch for any fighter to defend. It looks like a simple, non-threatening, space-establishing jab and becomes a powerful hook mid-punch.

How do you stop that, especially coming from a guy like PBF who attacks from so many different angles? NASTY.

If Manny and PBF fight, we're going to see more different angles than a geometry textbook! :)
