Have the game, knew about the rosters being locked at creation time, and figured I'd wait it out until it's recreated. Never got an invite or anything, in any case.

Danimal, I definitely think we should wait as long as possible for the latest roster update before starting on the 31st. Maybe a week before then, you can create it and try to rally the troops.

These rosters are so volatile during the preseason. I've seen big changes on ratings among Redskins players already. For example, the game started with Jansen at RT and backup Heyer was rated about a 60. Well, the new rosters reflect that Jansen has been cut, and Heyer, now the starter, is now boosted up considerably in rating, to like 68 or so. I'm sure a lot of rookies and 2nd year players will be adjusted as preseason and training camp performances provide data.

Not to mention there will surely be plenty of surprise cuts, free agents signed, such as Harrison who is an FA in the current set, an so on. Not that I feel we need to wait for opening day rosters, but I do agree we should wait as long as possible before nailing down the rosters.

I'm going to recreated the league on the 29th and the post the name and password for you all to join.

I'll leave the current one up for now in case anyone wants to mess around with the interface, might even play my game to see what the options are. Consider it a sand box to get a feel for the website etc.

Danimal, is there still room to join? I didn't reply earlier because I was leaning toward getting the PS3 version, but now I think I'm going to go for the 360.

Is the website working? I tried to go to it last night, but couldn't find it. Also, what's the story with the iPhone app? I can't find that, either. I wonder if it will cost $$, too.

Is the website working? I tried to go to it last night, but couldn't find it. Also, what's the story with the iPhone app? I can't find that, either. I wonder if it will cost $$, too.

zepp…I read that the app will be available in the app store sometime on 8/18 (Tuesday) and it will be free.

Few things

1. Brando you can get in, not sure what teams are left my updated list is at home.

2. iPhone app is going to be free

3. website is up I bookmarked the url at home. Use your easports world login to get in etc.

Isles got the Raiders in this one. I have the Raiders in the OS one

I dunno. I'm alright at this one, but I do more stupid sh*t in the passing game than in any previous year. I'm better with a good QB and passing attack, but then I won't be able to run much with the Cards. Who knows.

It will be interesting, that's for sure.

I didn't actually play as them in the full game until last night...

After spending countless games as the Raiders and their passing game/OLine, it was ridiculous flinging it around with Warner. It's like they're the anti-Raiders. Insane receivers, great QB, fantastic pass protection...can't run a lick.

Yet at the end of my game, Beanie Wells looked like Earl Campbell and broke out of something like 6 tackles on ONE RUN.

They're insane.

You are aware, sir, that they were in the Super Bowl last year...yes?

Just like the real Redskins, I have no illusions of competing for a title, I just hope I can sneak into the playoffs once in a while.

If the iPhone app is out, I'm going to propose a trade or two just to see how that all works.

Yes, but you know that they were the team least expected to do much in the playoffs, can't run the ball, and had a mediocre D?

I didn't think that they'd be treated with respect, but more along the lines of a "fluke" rating. Based on seeing what Darnell Dockett did to other teams' right tackle and Warner's pinpoint accuracy, it's insanity.

Many Super Bowl losers end up being "ok" the next year. In my other two franchises I'm the Lions and the Raiders--wanted a decent team for this one. Figured the passing game would be fun, but....just wow.
