How is that PC/Online version going? I kind of lost interest after those initial beta's without any analog or mouse swing. The game also chugged on my system pretty badly. Has it been improved at all?

Go log in and find out....IMO, it is vastly improved over the first 2 betas and TrueSwing is getting better with each beta....

It has improved greatly with this beta! TrueSwing feels much closer to the last PC TW game I played (2007 I believe). Good fun.

New TW10 Live Tournament Feature

Post by DivotMaker »

We’re creating a new way for all of you to play Live Tournaments!

Starting Next week we will be opening up a new Community Appreciation channel within the Live Tournaments feature. Within this channel we will create VIP tournaments for you guys to compete in. What you need to do in the mean time is round up all the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR gamers you know and create a group of golfers or “CLUB”. Your club will get its own unique VIP tournament within the Live Tournaments Community Appreciation channel. Starting on Tuesday (Sept 29th) we’ll start these new tournaments and each club will play in their respective VIP tournaments. The individual club with the best average round score at the end of the tournament (Thursday) will get a shot at the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 Dev Team’s club in an exclusive VIP Live Tournament next Saturday and Sunday (Oct 3rd and 4th).

We’ve included an introductory video below and some instructions for you guys on how to get your clubs created. Please follow these steps in order to create a valid club. For additional information and updates, please come back here to the forums or visit our Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 facebook page.

The rest of the post and intro video from Mike DeVault can be found at the link below...

TW Online Open Beta

Post by DivotMaker »

TW Online Open Beta starts today.

If you have been in previous betas, this will be the most complete beta yet released. Just played the limited MP Beta last week and there were many nice improvements over the previous beta....the game is coming along nicely, IMO.

If you have played previous betas, you should not have to re-register, but you may not have access until you receive an invitation via email....

No problem, you are quite welcome. Hope you like the game even more than the website....keep in mind it is still in Beta and the game will evolve based upon community feedback even after official release to the public....

I'm seriously thinking about IP banning the entire nation of India...that's where nearly all of this spam comes from. Either that, or manually approving every new member...what a pain.

I'd ban India. They give us nothing but call centers and good food

So after skipping out on beta 3, I finally tried the public beta and was pretty impressed at the improvements made since beta 2.

I only played a few holes so I don't want to say too much, but really nice improvements in interface and true swing. The game also ran much better on my puny config.

I suggest that some of you guys that previously wrote the game off may want to try this public beta.

Naples,

It is actually still a closed beta, but anyone who has signed up in the past should be receiving an invite to participate if they wish.

I agree with your comments, but I cannot wait for them to tune the gameplay to represent the different difficulty levels as this game plays pretty much the same in Beginner as it does in TOUR Pro, so they have some work yet to do before the big Open Beta scheduled for later this month. I am hoping they show most if not all of the game in the Open Beta....

Great at least sponsors like EA are using commonsense. As Peter Moore alluded to, they got involved with Tiger because he's the greatest Golfer in the world. They do not get involved in his private life.

+1 sale for EA, i'll be buying TW11 for the Wii in support of the decision.

Whats the point to say we're making an announcement to announce they are staying with Tiger. Didn't we know that considering you haven't dropped him?

It's safe now weeks later to come out and support him in an area where a major portion of the public won't give a crap. It's a no lose situation, if he stays out of sight this will pass and they look good by standing by him. If another rumor comes out like he f***ed a goat, then they can dump him.

Really much to do about nothing IMO.

Agreed. It's like holding a press conference to say, "We're not firing the head coach."

Waste of time.
