Just ridiculous the going price for the 3GS on ebay. Sure, I'd like better battery, video recording and faster processor, but for $1000? 8O .

Preferably under $100.
These are what I use:

At that price definitely get them. I bought them on 6/25 (MJ's deathday), for 49 and they work good and sound great, as usual ymmv. I'm using them with the new 32gb iphone 3gs if that helps.

Are they hard to find in some areas or something? They are in stock at all the Apple stores by me. Interesting.

What I was shocked about is that I was able to sell my two 2g's for $175 each on Craigs List. Couldn't believe it.

Just got a white 3gs...

Any recommendations for cases. I want a non-bulky one but more than one of those plastic strips for it.

Either of these are great:

Or

The second one that Sport linked from Power Support...best BY FAR. And comes with two screen protectors (clear and anti-glare).

It is showing as $4.99 right now. I'm playing with the default created player and I'm really enjoying it. I went on a trip earlier this week and its the only iPhone game I played. It's not perfect but worth the $3-5 in my opinion.

Anyone try NFL2019? It's now on sale for five bucks and I'm tempted, but scared off by the touch control scheme that seems similar to RealSoccer.

It's also made by gameloft and because of the sale, I've been tempted as well. The virtual control on the side, does take a bit to get used too, (especially if you got big hands) but after awhile I was comfortable playing socccer and their Tennis game. I was holding off for NFL10 though.

Ouch...it actually turns off the Nav when a call comes in? Sure, it starts back up once the call is finished, but what happens in the meantime when you miss 4 turns? Deal breaker.

Actually heard the pricing was higher, especially if you got the dock which has its own hardware to complement or even supplant the GPS in the iPhone.

Not any cheaper than buying a dedicated PND but not that surprising because the maps cost $100-150 by themselves.

The value they can add to an iPhone app. would be to develop a much better UI, making use of the multitouch, than you find in dedicated PNDs, which have crude and inefficient UIs (a lot of going forwards and back through a lot of screens to do the simplest tasks).

The Navigon app. didn't get strong reviews but apparently they plan to make a number of improvements over time, including adding features.

TomTom is going to have to do the same.

Garmin meanwhile is working on bringing out their own phone and PND combo.

I just bought the CoPilot one. I really like it. It's half the price of the Navigon but works really well and it has a nice interface. However it will definitely need some updates soon as i guess the mpas are a bit out of date and there is not QWERY keyboard.

I do not use GPS much so something that works decent for $35 is fine with me. But the Navigon does look really slcik to me. I am tempted to get that one maybe down the road.
