No, no. Soccer is a close No. 5, though. My top four has remained pretty much unchanged for the last 15 years or so, I think.

Sure, sports ebb and flow for everyone. Only hockey has remained at the pinnacle for me.

But I think that's a pretty safe estimate of my most consistent "big four" of the last 15 years or so.

And Dave, I know I still owe you something. Will get that to you, matey! In fact, maybe it will be one of those lovely new Newcastle kids. Holy shite, those are hideous -- a nice match for the 2008-9 edition of the team!

There is a huge gap between #1 and #2, but 2 and 3 are fairly interchangeable.

3. MLB
4. NBA

If we're adding in outside sports, then soccer slides in comfortably at #2.
