Test Your Skills on Great Tournament Courses - Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 on Xbox 360 and PS3 bring to life the beauty and realism of six new courses: Bethpage Black – site of the 2009 U.S. Open, Hazeltine, Oakmont, Pinehurst, Torrey Pines and Turnberry.
On the Wii, Banff Springs, Bethpage Black, Hazeltine, Oakmont, Pinehurst, Torrey Pines and Turnberry make their debut.
-----------------------
I could have sworn Pinehurst was in some of the earlier 360 versions? I guess they are doing one of the other courses and not #2 which is a shame, they should have kept it in. I like the addition of Hazeltine and Oakmont.

Updated Impressions and Pre E3 interview

This article has Pinehurst 2 in the game? Only 5 new courses. Tim you need to send a memo to EA that calling Pinehurst #2 a new course is a no-no (assuming this is correct).
Finally, EA revealed the full course list in Tiger 10. Among the 16 courses in the game, five will be new: Turnberry (home of this year's British Open), Bethpage Black (home of this year's U.S. Open), Oakmont, Hazeltine, and Torrey Pines. The other 11 courses: Bay Hill, Firestone, Pinehurst No. 2, East Lake, Pebble Beach, TPC Sawgrass, Saint Andrews, Doral, Wentworth, Harbor Town, and TPC Boston. If the past is any example, there will be more courses available postlaunch as downloadable content, but only for those willing to shell out the cash.
A bit disappointed that we have the same amount of courses as last year.
TW 09 courses (16 + 2 DL)
* Gary Player Country Club (REMOVED FOR TW 10)
* Old Course at St Andrews
* Pebble Beach Golf Links
* TPC at Sawgrass
* Carnoustie Golf Links
* Sheshan Golf Club (REMOVED FOR TW 10)
* Wolf Creek Golf Club (REMOVED FOR TW 10)
* Bay Hill Club and Lodge
* Wentworth Club
* Harbour Town Golf Links
* Doral Golf Resort & Spa
* Cog Hill Golf & Country Club (REMOVED FOR TW 10)
* TPC at Boston
* East Lake Golf Club
* Westchester Country Club
* Riviera Country Club (REMOVED FOR TW 10)
* Firestone Country Club (DLC)
* Spyglass Hill Golf Course was in earlier TW on 360 then (DLC for 09) now (REMOVED FOR TW 10)
Probably a lot of what Tim has posted with the Facebook updates but here is the EA sports Blog on the Tournaments

I know the Spyglass course will be DLC according to Gamestop.
Play from custom tee locations on all 27 courses in the game!

Pinehurst #2 has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, but it is a stretch to call it "new". The reason for 16 courses is the limitations of the 360 DVD media. At 200+ MB per course, the DVD fills up pretty quickly. This is where DLC will kick in. It is my understanding that there will be far more DLC courses this year than the last two versions. Another issue keeping the courses to 16 is the cost of licensing. it has gone through the roof in the past 2 years and it is getting increasingly difficult to acquire licenses from some courses. My understanding is that Westchester was a b*tch to get licensing done and actually required Tim Finchem's help to get it done. Torrey Pines was also very difficult.bdoughty wrote:

It has been confirmed today on the EA Tiger forums that Banff Springs and Spyglass will be DLC. If you purchase the 360 or PS3 versions from GameStop, they will give you a code for a free download of Spyglass.

I knew that 360 was worthless (shakes fists).DivotMaker wrote:

Thanks for the tip on the download of Spyglass. No way in hell was I going to pay for that course again. I really do not mind DLC courses and paying for them. Heck I am already itching to buy the two DLC courses for Hot Shots Golf. Just keep them at $5 or less, though I have complained about the $5 price point, I still end up paying it.
Golf rivals College Football as my favorite sport to play in video game form.
One are where EA could help themselves and save some costs are to start throwing out some fantasy courses (no licensing to deal with there) again to increase the course count (even if it is DLC). Drop the price on these courses to like $2.99 and I bet they would sell. I would love to play The Predator again.

Yep that is a really good lineup. I might have to go into a Gamestop when the game is out and see how good it is on the Wii and if I can tolerate the graphics.
That said I am having a blast with Hot Shots Golf on the PS3. One area this game has never been touched is in how the lie truly affects your shot. I have a player that hits a natural draw. I almost need a TI physics calculator in front of me to figure out where to aim on a sidehill lie.

That is an impressive course list. TW10 for the Wii is shaping up to be a monster of a game. I am even more hyped after reading IGN's latest hands-on impressions. There are so many cool features in addition to the list of courses and disc golf. The Wii MotionPlus appears as if it performs flawlessly with TW10, which is icing on the cake. I've never been keen on saying a single game is a "system seller," but for someone who really loves golf, TW10 might be a game that pushes them over the edge in buying a Wii. The EA tennis game is also shaping up to be a real doozy as well. June cannot get here fast enough.
I was VERY disappointed in last year's Wii version. I'm a little leary of IGN's opinion because last year I believe they said the swing was 1-1 and it was not. Plus, despite featuring "All Play" it was implemented so poorly that it was actually one of the few games my kids *couldn't play* (they had played the console version on the easiest setting from the time they were 3 with no problems). I love the concept of a Wii golf game, even with pedestrian graphics, but IMO the gameplay in past Tiger Wii games paled in comparison to even Wii Sports golf. Needless to say, the Wii version is not a day 1 purchase for me but a definite rental and probable purchase if it's even 3/4 as good as its potential.
The PS3 version though is a probable day 1 purchase for me. I've really enjoyed the last 2 years on the X360.
