Sura intentionally missed a layup to grab his 10th rebound (for the triple-double).
However, today the NBA cited an "intentionally missing can't result in a shot/rebound" rule and took away his last rebound, which nullified the triple-double. Good call by the league.
He decided to intentionaly miss a layup so he could rebound his own miss shot, giving him 10 rebounds and collect his third straight triple double. I bet there is some footage of it on ESPN.

Wow that is good news. Props to the NBA for nixing it.

Hey, at least Sura worked hard to help his team win.
What about Kobe 'making a point' by not putting up shots against the Kings? He cost his team the game by not shooting or playing his game. What does that say about him and the game??
You ever notice how being an idiot so often comes back to bite you... just one of the great things about sports.
Kovalev decided to shake his wrist rather than play the puck in an attempt to draw a penalty in double-OT vs. Boston. After getting tapped on the gloves by Travis Green... Kovalev starts shaking his wrist and staring at the ref in an attempt to draw a slashing penalty. He ends up leaving the puck floating aimlessly and runs into his teammate. Glen Murray swoops in and fires a quick wrister short side to end the game (all alone because the teammate that Kovalev took out had the best chance of attempting to defend him).
What gets me more is Kovalev's gall after the game:
"There's nothing you can say about that,'' said Kovalev, whose right hand was wrapped in a bag of ice. "We ended up in the middle of the ice and Sheldon ended up losing the puck.''
Sheldon lost the puck? I guess that it was his fault for not dashing over and picking it up from you when you started trying to draw the penalty, and his fault for not avoiding you running into him when you were looking at the ref instead of where you were going.

Yeah, that was quite the anti-climatic finish for a double-OT hockey game. Kovalev handled that play totally stupidly. I mean, that was quite the bit of embellishment going on by Kovalev there, and even if it wasn't I'm sure he could've at least gone after the puck. Way to blow the game, Alex!
