Tiger Woods 2010

Amazing difference isn't it Teal? While I think the new "precision putting" system (one fully proportional putter) is the greatest change to Tiger Woods 10, the new higher detailed, more naturally colored textures and grass will help a lot.
BTW, can anyone who read the ESPN article Divot linked identify the course at which the EA Sports photographer is imaging? It looks like Banff Springs to me... I think that would be a cool addition to the Tiger Woods library!

Could be Banff, the shot also reminds me a bit of Greywood Golf Course (BC) which was in Links 2004. I loved that course.J_Cauthen wrote: BTW, can anyone who read the ESPN article Divot linked identify the course at which the EA Sports photographer is imaging? It looks like Banff Springs to me... I still recall the days of playing Banff on the old DOS version of links.

Any idea when the NDA is up? I need my TW details (heck we are right at two months to ship). Still hoping they added transitions from morning to day, day to afternoon and afternoon to night but I am not holding my breath... nor will I complain if it is omitted as it is obvious that some serious T&C has been put on the things most of us want.

If I find out the Wii version will offer an alternative to "Ball Cam" for this year's Tiger Woods game, I might become a Wii owner! I like what I'm hearing about the Wii Motion Plus implementation so far, but I can't stomach Ball Cam, no matter what else the game does.Naples39 wrote:In related news, Nintendo announced that Wii Motion Plus will be available for $20 on June 8. Just announced by Jason Thompson that Tiger 10 will be discussed on the show tomorrow. Most likely it seems that it will be the unveiling of Character Progression.
As a reminder here is a link to the stream: http://den-a.plr.liquidcompass.net/stan ... ilverlight
It runs from 2 to 3 central every Monday thru Friday.

04/21/09 8:27 AM
EA SPORTS today announced that the Wii version of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 will be bundled with Nintendo's new Wii MotionPlus accessory when the title ships to stores in June in North America. In Europe, both Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 and EA SPORTS Grand Slam Tennis will be bundled with the Wii MotionPlus accessory at launch.
"This exclusive and limited-time offer is exciting news for sports fans who want to enhance their Wii experience for a great value with the new Wii MotionPlus right at launch with Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10," said Peter Moore, President, EA SPORTS. "The functionality of the Wii MotionPlus will help us deliver the authentic, true-to-life sports motion in June for Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 and EA SPORTS Grand Slam Tennis that will redefine the sports experience on the Wii."
Both Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 and EA SPORTS Grand Slam Tennis have been rated "E" by the ESRB. Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 has an MSRP of $59.99 when bundled with the Wii MotionPlus. Both products, which ship to stores on June 15 on the Wii in North America, will be available for $49.99 without the accessory.
EA SPORTS has at least five products in development that will launch before the end of 2009 designed specifically for the Wii.

I could see many wii games making for good exercise, these two, not so much. Are they playing while on a treadmill, cause it seems that if you remove all the walking it is just glorified hand waggling.pigpen81 wrote:Freaking sweet...I am going with the Wii version for sure.Zlax45 wrote:Disc golf is also included.
I might have to get this for our fitness room at school as well....golf and disc golf will be terrific.

Awesome to see both games packaged with the Wii MotionPlus. I was hoping this would happen since I would otherwise need to buy a couple anyway. For those of you that have a Wii but get TW on the 360/PS3 for the graphics and the like, I highly recommend giving the Wii version a shot this year. Last year's game was simply tremendous, and TW10 looks as if it will be even better in all aspects. Sports gamers with a Wii have some real gems in PES and TW on the system, and the EA tennis game could be a winner as well.
