Nothing like watching that multi-million dollar New York fatass give up 6 runs in less than 5 innings.

Neither did Aramis Ramirez. Why some right handed hitter hasn't hit 70 homers for the Astros is behind me

Pittsburgh winning on the road (sorry Sportsdan).
Texas shelling the Indians and only giving up one run.
Yankees getting blasted as we speak.

Doubt I could have scripted it any better. * Please do not let this jinx the Orioles in the 9th.

A pocket of drunken morons almost spoiled the home opener for the Jays. Already ahead 12-5 in the 8th inning, the same bunch of losers started throwing debris (including baseballs) into the field making Jim Leyland pull his players into the bench until a public announcement was made. In situations like this a home team is to forfeit the game to the visitors when things get out of hand.

The Doc was solid as usual but now that's when the quality of the rotation drops dramatically with A.J. gone. J. Litsch pitches game two against the Tigers followed by the rookies.

White Sox fans taking a long drive up to Toronto? Their game was postponed.

Not likely. Most can't leave the jurisdiction without prior authorization. :)

But how do you get the ankle bracelet off? :P

Carlos Zambrano looked like he was pitching with a full confidence meter last night.

LOL!

Yeah, I wanted to watch him pitch, but by the time I got home from work yesterday (surprise, surprise) he was already out of the game.

MLB Network's flagship show, MLB Tonight, debuted last night - it is like crack. Baseball talk and instant updates from all the games. Awesome stuff.

Phils down 2-0 already...quiet DB :x

FYI, Comcast subscribers - MLB Network is now in HD on channel 252...at least in eastern PA. As you were

Why every game isn't being broadcast in HD this year on DirecTV's Extra Innings is beyond me. I thought we'd get to the same point as the NFL, but I guess not. Ah well.

And  to Diablo.

1) Taking off ankle bracelets is as easy as writing a check.

2) Confidence meter? Zambrano is God's ace pitcher.

3) Thome!!!

Yes, it sucks! The answer is because not every FSN Network is broadcasting every game in HD. I think Pittsburg's next HD game isn't until Friday. Though you would think between the home & away feeds you'd be covered, but not yet I guess.

Also, it's not Directv TV's exclusive package (like NFL Ticket). Many cable companies offer it as well. I think if it was exclusive, DTV could probably force more HD feeds.

The bigger issue is getting some of the local affiliates that carry one game a week on the Extra Innings package. The Card's Sunday Games are usually on KPLR so if the team they are playing has a similar deal, you're out of luck on Sunday. (yeah, I mean who would want to watch baseball on a Sunday afternoon!!)

Oh I know it's not exclusive...tho it still isn't available on a few providers here in So. Cal. But still...the Braves are on Peachtree TV and nearly all their games are in HD and DirecTV is just using the SD feed. WTF? Oh well...I'll watch the Braves all year in SD if they continue to play like they are playing.
